Mister Pink 9,637 Posted May 7, 2014 Hmmmm....10/10 - not biased at all. 1978 - you can see this style was inspired by the power of red, white and black. The White Stripes adopted it for a time and oh...the Nazis.

Mister Pink 9,637 Posted May 7, 2014 I have to give this 10/10. My mother had this record lying around at home. I always thought Grace Jones was fascinating to look at. It's an iconic photo and I remember seeing someone do a recreation of it some time ago. I loved Floyd covers. I read that these are all actually real beds... ~Tiger~ 12,900 Posted July 30, 2014 I missed this thread so apologies for the mini-bump! I love Roger Dean's artwork on those old Yes albums. My all time favourite album art was King Crimson, In the Court Of the Crimson King: Cover: Inside art: Amazing music too.
The Hippie 428 Posted July 30, 2014 I've always liked that cover. 9/10 Here's one that always reminds me of King Crimson's cover, but this was released a year before. Ant Trip Ceremony - 24 hours.(1968)
mr quick 10,510 Posted July 30, 2014 (edited) Supertramp's "Even In the Quietest Moments" - Not only is it a beautiful album cover, but it's also great music. Definately recommend it for early prog fans. The sheet music on the snow-covered grand is "Fool's Overture", the last track on the album, which has excerpts from Churchill's "We shall never surrender". Great music. Brown Sugar 363 Posted July 31, 2014 This one's a live album but that still counts, good ol' Charlie Watts. I like the comic book/cartoon style of this one, all the songs featured on the radio station K-Jah in GTA 3 were on this album.
mr quick 10,510 Posted July 31, 2014 There's a lot of pink floyd in here, a lot of those were by Storm Thorgerson (who died last year). Give the name a quick google followed by the words 'album covers' and you'll get to see all his great work

universetwisters 31,565 Posted August 9, 2014 Note how the order of the names are reversed. I always thought that was the coolest part about the album.
Zondar 1,985 Posted August 10, 2014 That Grace Jones cover is absolutely incredible. I've always loved this one. Really sums up that feeling of spending TOO long drinking and whatnot in bars.
