So as far as i can see at the moment people are still grinding Rooftop Rumble, Myself included.

This is so they will have enough cash when the Highlife update comes out.

So the update will happen, Everyone will buy a new second apartment/mansion/garage/etc.

Everyone will buy and mod the new vehicles.

After the update it will be the same dull game with a few new vehicles.

There will be no new fun missions to play, The mission will be more god damn Deathmatch snoozefests.

What I'm trying to say is I'm betting that the update is going to end up being one big anti-climax.

Your thoughts guys?

At what point do i I say I DO NOT LIKE the game?

I'm just finding it's losing it's appeal. :miranda:

This is the reason I am against: RR's current pay rate, glitching, and DNS mods. In game making there are two schools of design. Delayed Gratification and Instant Gratification. With Instant Gratification you keep the rewards rolling out at a breakneck pace, keeping that dopamine flowing. With Delayed Gratification however you slowly roll out the rewards, let the player work for it, and then the dopamine kick when the player unlocks something is more potent.

Unlike GTA IV Online, GTA V Online was designed as a Delayed Gratification game. The problem is, people keep playing it like it is an Instant Gratification game by wanting everything the moment it comes out and then when there is nothing left, they complain, even though it is their fault. This game was meant to take MONTHS to reach the top, not two weeks.

This game is not Instant Gratification, which means the updates will not release as many items. If you glitch, grind, and mod those items in during the first week... you are ignoring the point of the game.

I don't hate GTA:Online, Learn to read before posting.

You like a "dull snoozefest", but we need comprehension lessons. Are you twelve?

I see what you're trying to say OP.

Same thing happened after the Business Update..but Multiple property and Heists will add much more lenghty interest than Business Update did because people will want to find more cars to have, mod, cruise them etc..

by the time we get bored of owning 20 cars, new high-end apartmens and heists, there will be another update on the way...

My opinion is that it is not the same dull game. I play almost everyday and never found it dull.

The OP did not say they didn't like game, so all these 'hurrr durrr dont like dont play' posts are f*cking retarded, why dont you take a moment to actually read the original post before displaying your 'outstandingly witty responses' /sarcasm

OT: Hopefully the update will not just provide us with new items to purchase, as although exciting as first, gone with the way of the Valentines and Business Updates is what brings us where we are today.

We can hope that the new items in the update are released with features such as heists, casinos and business investments, which breathe new life into GTA Online and stop it being the anti-climax once the novelty of the new toys wear off.

that's why I dont buy them all at the same time (I was broke before that's true)

as I want to extend the life span of the DLC stuff as long as possible.
