rhyn
I know that. But Balotelli has also bagged in the CL. Neither of these things makes them exempt from criticism. I just find it funny how people will focus more on Mario than others. Probably because he was the £16m Suarez replacement who missed an open goal today. FranklinDeRoosevelt
Yeah I guess 16 mill is quite a cheap scapegoat when you think about it. For a 24 year old acclaimed striker that is or at least used to be world class at times, he should be destroying the ball towards the back of the nets regularly so it's not a cheap scapegoat at all. They bought him for £16 f*cking million when in reality, he should be worth around £30-40 million. That's a massive privilege. Yet he can't even score an open goal. The only thing that was worse than this was when Chelsea bought Torres for £50 mill and till date, is one of if not the biggest flop in their history. Doc Rikowski
Milan's last season was indeed overall awful but Balotelli's performance in last season was considered also awful by the whole Italian press. Milan sold him because he sucked and everyone in Milan was happy he was finally gone. Balotelli is just like Cassano, a great football talent but a very immature person. His attitude is the kind of attitude that will take you nowhere near the top in football. He even lost his spot in the Italian national team and nobody misses him there. flitcroft101
I don't think Balotelli was awful at Milan. I thought Milan sucked dick as a whole, Balotelli was one of the brighter points. Balotelli does not fit at Liverpool, I have no f*cking idea what Rodgers was smoking. I think it was desperation, just like Andy Carroll. Liverpool better sort their sh*t because Ronaldo has never been so strong. Doc Rikowski
Well, Milan management, the press and pretty much all Milan supporters thought he sucked in his last season. They're happy he's gone. That says something, doesn't it? Personally I was hoping he'd improve in Liverpool but I doubt he'll ever change his stupid attitude. --- I find it hilarious that the Spanish press celebrates Real Madrid as the best attack in the world after they beat 5-0 the 19th team on the table. Duh? Of course they won 5-0 against a sh*tty team. It is what they are supposed to do especially in a championship where there's virtually no tradition nor capacity in having a slightly decent defense. They live on free transfers, low wages and loans nowadays. I think their lust for Torres sums it up perfectly actually heh. dante財閥
dante財閥
There's been nothing wrong with Balotelli's attitude at Liverpool Doc Rikowski..it's absolutely absurd that people are scapegoating Balotelli a) so early on in the season and b) when he is definitely not the issue. Milan's last season was indeed overall awful but Balotelli's performance in last season was considered also awful by the whole Italian press. Milan sold him because he sucked and everyone in Milan was happy he was finally gone. That says more about Italian media than anything else. He was Milan's top scorer in the past two years. Is that what passes for sucking these days? He made 54 appearances and scored 30 goals. Again, he was not the issue with Milan just like he is not the bloody issue with Liverpool. Ducard
The problem with Mario is his attitude. He doesn't really care about football at all. He is a great player but his attitude is bringing him down which is why Milan were happy to sell him off. Mario missed an open goal yesterday so of course people are going to criticize him. He's a new signing and is supposed to be Liverpool's main replacement for Suarez. Nobody's saying he is the main issue with Liverpool or he was the main issue with Milan. It's just that people criticize him because he hasn't been up to the mark and I think we can all agree on that. I actually really like Balotelli but he needs to take things more seriously and focus on his game. Else he will never fulfill his potential. I was talking in general since I really don't know how he's doing in Liverpool. His attitude and personality though are too immature and are stopping him from being a top class player. I never said he was the only issue in Milan but he was considered part of the problem, in the last season only though. Anyway I agree on Milan being run by idiots lately. dante財閥
dante財閥
Milan were such a great club, it's a farce how badly they've become. Swapping Balotelli for Torres was one of many eyebrow raising incidents.

Any ambition Milan had to be a "big club" again was thrown into the fire when they sold both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva on the same day. Berlusconi is a scumbag. FranklinDeRoosevelt
Haha, my God. They sold them BOTH for £50 mill. The best bargain buys the football world has ever seen. Chelsea bought Torres for the same price which shows how incredibly retarded they were. But they "sort" of redeemed themselves when they sold the sh*tbag David Luiz for £50 mill to PSG. And now, they bought Costa which completely redeemed them and more. Anyway, what do you think will happen in the Utd and West Brom match? Any predictions? SouthLand
Today is a very important day for me sports wise. It's the first time in my life i am going to see my team play against a first Division team in an official match. So glad we made it to the third round of the Spanish Cup and now we get to play against an important first Division Team! Last time we had a chance to do this was back in the 80's... I wasn't even arround lol Being very optimistic, We will score two goals in out stadium, then park the bus in the Sanchez Pijuan Stadium and go to the next round
