Hodgey.
Abhorrent. FIFA needs to be harsher with it's racism punishment. UEFA/FIFA are a joke when it comes to racism. They try and say all the right things and have slogans and badges etc to combat racism. However when it comes to actual punishments they are laughable. Look at when England U21 played in Serbia a few years back when large parts of the stadium where being racist, what punishment did Serbia get............ a £65,000 fine. They're a joke and not just with racism. Teams who have been found gulity of breaching the FFP could be fined. The whole point of FFP was to make sure teams didn't spend to much money, so what do they decide to do to punish them, they fine them. f*cking brilliant idea, makes perfect sense. UEFA/FIFA dont have the balls to hand out punishments to fit the situation and I dont see that changing any time soon. Doc Rikowski
dante財閥
Luis Suarez taking a photo of himself eating a banana in 'solidarity' with Alves has to be one of the lowest points of gesture politics since John Terry wore an anti racism black armband. Hodgey.
Dont understand why Real haven't taken Ramos off yet. I doubt Bayern can score 5 goals with the time left so why risk him missing the final through a stupid decision.

Mista J
How else do you beat a team that passes it 600 times side to side? Guardiola is a one trick pony, he does the possession game well, but he has no back up. Just pass pass pass. He did it for the Vine Bayern are just so used to being able to dominate 'weaker' sides. The tactics Real used wouldn't have been anything they, nor Pep, haven't seen before, however Real have players of better quality than what they're used to. Where was the pace and hunger in Bayern's game?

Doc Rikowski
Real play like most people do on Fifa, wait for the counter and then abuse with pace. Ronaldo, Bale, Benzema and Di Maria are ruthless. That's exactly how Italy won 4 World Cups. No wonder the coach is Italian. I'm happy for Ancelotti. The only way for Real to be back in a CL final was by hiring an Italian coach and play football "all'italiana".

Madrid play exactly the same as how they did under Mourinho except now they have Gareth Bale and the teams around them are getting weaker. In football, highly subjective opinions are like flies. They're all over the place but they are irrelevant to the reality of the game and its history. Btw, facts... Italian managers won more European titles across the 3 European cups than managers from any other country. Same for Italian teams. Plus 4 WC... Simply at the top of European football history. Josh
Barcelona weren't held back by tragedy -- they were held back by not having rectified the obvious problems with their squad in the summer. Of course, that's quite tragic, but I don't think that's at all what you meant.

They don't just launch the ball forward. They guard the ball, they pass around a lot more. There more to their game overall. dante財閥 and Shmoopy
dante財閥
Have to agree with Darth, there is a marked difference in the style of play at Real. But that is simply because Mourinho's blueprint is so defined. He has a formula and by and large it works.
