Villa now being drawn in to the relegation battle now. They should have enough to see them safe however but they haven't improved since Lambert took over so that should be a bit of a worry.

I dont follow West Ham closely so I dont really know if you want him gone for things behind the scenes or just solely based on results. Granted West Ham should be higher in the league, I'd say they should have about 43 points and sitting in 11th like Palace are at the moment but he isn't that far behind them. Is it more than the results and the way he plays then Max?

I've heard that Lerner is looking to sell, but he's probably not going to do it whilst Villa's stock is so low. I mean metaphorical stock just so there's no confusion. That probably also means he's reluctant to invest any great deal of money into the club in the summer as well. It's kind of a catch 22 situation. I would love to see them get relegated though. I can't stand Lambert, plus they're one of our bogey teams and their fans just seem to have some sort of entitlement issue.

 

I've got loads of family that support West Ham, and they all hate Sam too. They say it's mainly the way he plays, not the results.

West Ham are even more boring than Chelsea to watch. They approach each match against a big club with negativity and rely on grinding out points against the rest of the League.

The way he plays, but also the results. Yes we're nearly safe but apart from a good February we've been terrible all season, scraping draws or sneaking wins with 30% possession while consistently losing to those around us. Even February we got a bit of luck. We've now lost as many games as Norwich, Sunderland and Cardiff who everyone says are sh*te. We've lost 7 of our last 9 and with Spurs and City to come that is likely to be 9 in 11 loses.

 

We have the most 1 dimensional team I've ever seen with only 1 tactic, lump it to Carroll and hope he scores or if not, hope that Nolan gets on the end of it. This 'partnership' lacks any sort of pace, guile or creativity and yet we persist with it. Week in Week out and it hasn't worked all season. I could set up a Premiership team to keep us out. Our two most creative players, Joe Cole and Ravel Morrison have both been frozen out by Sam. And if they do play they're parked out wide while Nolan stays central, a man who cannot pass or shoot, or move really. It's disgusting.

 

We have a team with no players under 25, a bunch of players we bought 3 years ago for the Championship now well into their 30s and still starting. We look slow, disinterested and f*cking ugly to watch. And to top it all off he is so unbelievably arrogant and prickly in press conferences. He's incredibly disrespectful towards the fans. In his first press conference he laughed at 'The West Ham way' which means a lot in my neck of the woods. He's cupped his ears at the boos to antagonise us. In every press conference he bemoans refereeing decisions or luck and ignores the sh*t, unimaginative football. He refuses to try any other system and hide behind this myth of 'guaranteed safety' as if there is literally no other way of staying in the Premiership.

 

And fine, maybe this wouldn't be so bad if it was just about survival. But we're moving to one of the most iconic stadiums in the country in 2 years. An extra 19,000 seats. We were promised a team worthy of that venue. We were promised football befitting the stadium and which did justice to our history and to one of the largest and most ardent sets of supporters in the country. We aren't a team which should have to worry about survival every year, we should be looking up, not over our shoulders. We're not even close. We have 2 more chances really, 2 more summer transfer windows to put the foundations of a good team in place to take us into that stadium. We need two things: Serious investment and a complete change of attitude. Can you imagine any prospective player watching us and our 'system' and seeing a place for himself to shine? They won't come.

 

Whether he feels we're unfairly critical or not is besides the point now, his relationship with the fans is so damaged after 3 seasons of utter sh*t that it would take a miracle for him to come back from it. I hear people around me at my seat talk of not renewing their season ticket and these are people who have been STH for 30 years, seen us through everything and yet this current state of affairs is too much for them, I won't be joining them but I don't blame them. Why spent £700 to watch this sh*t? We are the 4th most expensive season ticket in the league and we get served absolute sh*t.

 

The club's rotten at the moment, it feels poisonous. When it's the fans vs. the manager/team every weekend something has to give.
