Well we all know that Man City and Chelsea fans were United fans prior to 2008/2004. :p

Anywho here's hoping that Burnley get promoted today and that Sunderland take their place in the Championship, only because we'll get rid of one bogey team to replace them with a team we get a nice 6 points off.

David Moyes has been sacked by the sound of it.

I was joking but I know you ain't on of them Crokey. I saw your posts on the forum where you supported City even before 2008. Got some big respect for you for that mate. :^:

Also if United sack Moyes, it is going to be one of the worst sackings in football history and no I am not being sarcastic. It just does not makes sense.

Seems a silly and undignified time to sack him. Should have seen out the season and then let him go quietly.

Exactly. Also it makes no sense to sack him when he is doing his "rebuilding" process. I'd definitely say he deserves the sack if his rebuilding fails though.

But then the summer would be even more hectic.

If we're going to sack him then now is the time. Give Giggs the manager position for the rest of the season :^:

Not really. I remember when Burnley knocked us out of the FA Cup as Djimi Traore decided to do a Cruyff turn on our own goal line :facedesk: Seems like they are definetly coming up though as they are beating Wigan 2 - 0.

Fergie took a squad similar to this one and won the PL by a comfortable margin. No one expected fireworks or anything, but United at the very least should have challenged for a CL spot. A change in manager is no excuse for this season's performance.

A simple outlier. You don't know what will happen when Djimi is on the pitch.

I disagree, let Moyes know he's going to go this summer. Make contact with replacements and have 1 in place for the first week after the end of the season and have it all in place.

It's more hectic to sack him with 3 matches to go and suffer the ensuing media frenzy.

I don't care about Liverpools record against them, as long as City can replace 6 points dropped with 6 points earned, then I'll be happy.

I get where your coming from but would Moyes be all for the job and giving 100% to the job if he knew he was going at the end of the season? Same with the coaching staff.

The media frenzy would happen anyway, everything seems to leak nowadays which is unusual for United as we used to be good at keeping stuff from the media but if Moyes was told he was going at the end of the season I could see the media show how getting hold of it.

Even if Sunderland do stay up I'm sure you could just spend another £500 million on players to make up those 6 points.

EDIT: Some United fans are hilarious

AD. Alcorcon 3-1 CE Sabadell

I know nobody cares but i still want to post my teams resaults.

Why does 77% of my team's points have been won on our home field and not elsewhere?

Our manager's tactic when we play in our stadium: "fight until you are so exhausted you guys cant stand up"

Our manager's tactic when we don't play in our stadium: "run for your lives and hide"

That's often the way Southland. Managers like to keep it tight away from home and then play with more freedom at home. It can be frustrating but I understand why teams do this.

Five of our best players that weren't injured stayed in the bench for the first half. Two had a chance to play in the 2nd half and after they came in, the team started playing better and we scored a goal. Too late we were loosing already by 3-1...

I take it you are new to the term "bogey side"?

I had to do a double take on this. He will only be sacked when a new permanent boss is CONFIRMED to join at the end of the season, so this could get real interesting if this turns out to be true, and quite often Sky get these half right, mostly just the time-frame they get wrong

Yeah the City game is pretty much over already.

Burnley also promoted today and Wolves are now the champions of League One.

If Moyes goes, I want Klopp to join us.

All well and good wanting him but I dont think he's going to leave Dortmund at this time. He signed a new extension at the start of the year so it seems he wants to be there for atleast a few more years. Plus if Barca want him aswell thats a better job at the moment.

I'll let Der_Don explain in more detail why this wont happen.

I'm actually kinda tired of explaining Utd-fans why this is not going to happen. Their answer will always be: "But we're Manchester United, bro. We can get whoever we want." No you can't.

Can City fans still do the Poznan when they score even though no one is sitting next to them?

Mathematically impossible for Manutd to get 4th now.

Pretty much impossible to get 5th either. It's funny that most United fans probably think the europa league is beneath them.

If Liverpool win the league I think it will be the best season ever. Oh no wait...

Couldn't find any footage where you see Fergie celebrating prematurely. That was the best bit.

United are so screwed. I heard a BBC commentator before the match yesterday say...

"United have scored 8 goals in their last 2 premier league games, they could prove a test for Roberto Martinez' men"

How times change. No-one saw a decline as sharp as this coming... Apart from Fergie of course.

No offence but your jokes are really terrible. Can't you try to make them..... um more funny?

I wasn't joking :bored: Btw, your retorts could do with some improvement.

-----

Nathan - I do take enjoyment from United being in a sorry state but only because they've won so much in recent times. It's good to see a change from the norm from a neutrals perspective (or anyone who doesn't support United) and it's been nice seeing a little humility from United fans this season. I'd probably like the club more if most of the fans weren't so arrogant and I didn't detest Fergie so much. I did used to like them when I was a kid and recently when Tevez and Ronaldo were there, playing with Rooney upfront. They played some sick football. I can remember the champions league final a few years back when United were running rings around Barca in the first 15-20 mins with plenty of opportunities but somehow didn't score. I was really disappointed when they lost. The squad, the history, the fans, the football and I, have all changed since then though.

I know it happened a while ago but the straw that broke the camels back had to be the end of The Invincibles run (Battle of the Buffet) :barf:
