Der_Don
Finished watching the Betis - Sevilla what a game. Rakitic the best! The Europa League games have been way better than the CL games this season. The EL is often laughed at but as soon as it reaches the KO-stages it's very interesting to watch. Vercetti42
It only gets better because the teams who finish 3rd in the CL get 'relegated' to the EL. I still think that the qualification rules could use some tweaking though. As for me I hope that Lyon continue their decent run in the EL. Although Juventus should be able to win it now with Napoli and Spurs out of the competition. Edited March 21, 2014 by AceKingston

jln22
Our season is over. Too bad we couldn't turn Benfica leg around, it seems that our youngsters are better than the first team, since they drew away. Then you've got to wonder if these players really want to play for Tottenham. Oh and Soldado is f*cking sh*t.
Shoumaker
Draw results FC Barcelona vs. Atletico Real Madrid vs. Borussia Dortmund Paris Saint Germain vs. Chelsea Manchester United vs. Bayern Munich I'm happy both Chelsea and United weren't drawn together. Stephan90
half finalists imho: Real Madrid FC Barcelona Bayern München Paris Saint Germain Dortmund always seems to get Real Madrid, which are the favourites aside from Bayern for me.
Der_Don
It's the worst case for us. Too many injuries plus Lewy suspended for the first game. It's going to be brutal. Real and Bayern definitely in the semis, not too sure about Barca and PSG though.

Stephan90
I would prefer playing at home in the first leg to use the home advantage and then have the enemy to play under pressure in the second leg.
Banks.
I prefer playing away first leg so you can get a away goal or two going into the home tie which would make much more easier. We can't let Bayern score in the first leg
Hodgey.
I can only see Barca, Real Madrid and Bayern getting into the semi finals. As for the PSG v Chelsea, I think that that is the closest of the matchups but would hope to see PSG get through.

Buttner vs Robben anyone? haha f*ck Yeah I was thinking of that before. Probably would go with either Jones or Smalling at right back and Rafa at left back. Also, how about Evans left back? He used to play there for the Under 21's and was pretty decent but the other option is the most safe one and my pick of course. No way is Buttner playing. I didn't know Evans played /lB for the youths. If he's fit it might be an idea. He has a decent left foot in him. SRS Incorporated
Mr Rabbit
There is an opportunity here, if they were to pull off what not many of us are expecting and beat bayern munich there will be some fear factor restored which has been the problem. It is unlikely but an opportunity nonetheless. The only team to beat Bayern this season is City. Unless you count the supercup then Dortmund too. from an English point of view we don't count our version of the supercup as much, but goals scored do go on the player tallies so it is 50-50 whether you count that, Spain count it quite a bit as I know from actually being there, the English don't give a toss about the Charity Shield, what are German opinions on their supercup? I think we will be seeing Barca, Real Madrid, PSG and Bayern in the semis. I miss the days when the semi final draw was att eh same time as the quarters. Stephan90
what are German opinions on their supercup? it's not as prestigious as the Championship and the Cup. The supercup was reintroduced in 2010 after the last edition in 1996.
SouthLand
I wished this happens: 1st Round: Atletico de Madrid 0-0 FC Barcelona 2nd Round: FC Barcelona 0-1 Atletico Madrid David Villa scores on the 90th min of game and he celebrates it by kissing the Atletico badge on his jersey. GTA_stu
PSG is a decent draw for us, considering who we could have got. Playing away first is generally more advantageous. This is also really the first time they've come up against a top European side this season. They've played Benfica, Olympiacos, Anderlecht and Leverkusen so far in the CL, and I wouldn't count any of the other French teams as a top European side. I think our chances are pretty decent. Don't see Utd getting through past Bayern, although there's really no pressure on them since they're the massive underdogs. At the same time, they have a lot to play for, and that 3-0 might have just sparked something. Evra being out I wouldn't even say is that much of a problem. Even with him available you'd possibly prefer a right footed player against Robben at LB, just because he likes to cut in so much and doesn't really have a right foot.
