Farsa in Spanish means: Sham. Also, people from other teams besides Barça that live in Catalonia call FCB Fans "Swiss" since the founder of the club was from Switzerland. This is used in a disrespectful manner beacuse FCB fans claim to be the real catalans and, while RCD Espanyol was founded by catalans, FC Barcelona was founded by a Swiss man.

Quite looking forward to the City/Barca game. Not bothered which way it goes, just hoping to see a good game with plenty of goals.

I felt both City and Arsenal put in good performances against 2 of Europe's best teams, but it goes to show they still have a bit to do to catch up. Not too much, but work to be done. Encouraging I feel.

Europa League tonight. Does anybody really care about the Europa League anymore? (If your team isnt playing in it I mean)

 

I'd personally would prefer it if they expanded the CL to contain more teams.

That'd suck. There are already too many teams in the CL right now. An expansion would only be possible at the cost of quality.

As for the Europa League: The EL has some kind of "Loser-Cup"-character. One step in the right direction would be the abolition of the rule which allows the 3rd-placed teams in the CL to continue in the EL. A stupid rule imo. If you're out of Europe, then you're out.

Yeah I never liked that if you don't make it out of the CL you go to the EL. Especially when you got teams who are obviously of lower talent, just get dicked when teams like Juventus or Chelsea last season get put in.

Definitely keep the number of clubs taking part the same.

 

In my opinion, the biggest clubs in Europe have too much damn say on how it gets run, it's kind of ridiculous in my opinion that fourth place in the premiership get's a chance in the 'Champions' League. Then the competition is seeded, and the big clubs get to play the sh*tty ones, and it only get's really engaging when it's the knockout stages, I'd like to see smaller clubs from less prestigious leagues having more chance to progress.
