Very bad refereeing, no way was that a penalty! Fabregas kicked out and tripped himself up, Puyol didn't do anything.

Contact off the ball, its a foul for me. Deffo a 50/50 anyway, seen them given before.

Still a f*cking awesome game of footy.

Haha, this tie has completely changed within 30 minutes. Still, 2 away goals aint too shabby to take to your own ground. I'm sure a lot will be said about Barca missing their first choice central defenders in the next game but anyone remember the last time an English team faced Barca with a weakened defence? Yeah...

Thought the exact same.

Fabregas injuring himself even more by belting that pen in. Arsenal are pretty lucky that the score is at 2-2, it could of been so much worse.

That's Pique, Puyol and Fabregas out of the 2nd leg.

Fabregas could have a broken leg! Ouch!

Wonder if he will be ok for the WC? Hope so.

He was limping quite heavily after the penalty and at the end of the match. I was surprised at how hard he kicked the ball into the net!

Wenger took some big risks last night with Gallas and Fabregas and now both look to miss the rest of the season.

Can only see Fabregas making a couple of cameos for Spain if he's fit for the WC anyway with Xavi and Iniesta in the middle.

Although I think Tommy's just exhibiting some harmful gamesmanship, it is a tad far buddy.

Sucks to be a Liverpool supporter though, got absolutely barred by Benfica last night. Seemed just like a bad night for the Reds, but what a goal by Agger though!

Rafa was always going to go into this game with a defensive set up and then even more so when Babel got sent off, there was nothing in it what so ever what Babel done, putting his hand over Luisao's mouth but you can't go putting hands in peoples faces right in front of the ref especially in Europe.

Torres was getting the living sh*t kicked out of him and in the end just looked fed up with lack of support, Torres upfront on his own and the nearest Liverpool player was still at John Lennon airport.

Ref was f*cking sh*t.

If that was a British team throwing firecrackers at the match assistant like that then they'd get banned for 2 seasons.

And yet, you try to say something along those lines to the face of a Benfica supporter, and they get reeeally defensive. It can be almost entertaining to watch.

I must say, I did want to see Benfica pull out a win yesterday. I mean, they have been better than they have been in the last 15-20 years. I was rooting for them. At the start of the match, at least. I could enjoy that beast of a goal by Agger, seeing as I was neutral. But after seeing Luisão try to kick Torres's knee cap off his leg, I withdrew any support.

Jesus Christ, I had to put up with enlarged Benfica supporters after we were mowed down in the Emirates and after we lost one of the domestic cups against them. This last game was even marked by rough play by Bruno Alves, an experienced player, captain, central defender, national team staple and by a few, ahem, a thousand chairs moved from the seatings to the pitch. Yet, it's so bloody fair that Luisão, an experienced player, captain, central defender, national team staple does that, mid game, un-f*cking-provoked. He should have gotten that red, not Babel. Not a chair flew, I would guess, because this was Lisbon, but those very-lights and firecrackers are quite equivalent, methinks. All of this, while scraping a win with no game to show. What the f*ck?

1 hour to go till the Manchester United v Chelsea FC match. I think we will snatch a victory but there will be a late goal.

Newcastle could return to the Premiership today and Pompey could be dropped down. Sounds like a good day of football.

Like f*ck they would, it takes a lot more than that for an English club to be banned from Europe.

No clue on sarcasm or exaggeration what so ever.

Anyway cracking result for Chelsea, title still not over yet and Arsenal seem to be hanging there with another late goal.

Man City are on a bloody rampage at the mo'.
