Seddo
Peter Beardsley as temporary manager, PETER BEARDSLEY, cracking footballer but not management material, he's only managed the reserves for a few months. What the fook is that board thinking about, didn't they learn about all the past Messiah will save us crap? /shakes head
LanceVanceDance07
Edit: Lol @ Sepp Blatter... Those suitcases filled with money are a real tripping hazard. Sepp Blatter also sleeps on a pile of money, and wipes his ass with $100 bills...but yeah, pretty funny stuff. Oh, and Mike Ashley is a dumb f*ck. Edit: Ngog AND Babel on the score sheet? Are my eyes decieving me right now? Is hell freezing over right now? Edited December 6, 2010 by LanceVanceDance07

Tchuck
I find it good to see Liverpool performing well without Torres and Gerrard. That was pretty much their weakness, since those players are injury prone and Liverpool seems to always suck without them Good to see them getting their act together! LanceVanceDance07
Anyone catch the Twente-Tottenham game, anyone see how Spurs (didn't) score that first goal... I can't laugh at this guy, this is just unfortunate, stuff like this happens sometimes. Just ask Paul Robinson or Artur Boruc.
TommyMufc-Champs
He was unlucky but what would he be thinking lol. We drew last night with Valencia, enough to put us top of the group and avoid Madrid and Barcalona.

Theodoro
Ok. I played the football pool of the EPL last week and there's only this match remaining to get 9 correct predictions(If Utd wins). And if Chelsea had won against Everton I would have got all the 10 correct.
SilentSeas
Anybody know on which date the Blackpool v/s Utd will be played? No date has been announced yet but apparently the Premier League are looking at the ref's decision to call off the game so early as the pitch was playable on matchday. Seddo
Just come across this, fantastic video that deserves a viewing. All about the butterfly effect and how something so little can effect something....such as if United didn't win that F.A cup all those years ago and Fergie ended up sacked, Terry putting that pen away in Moscow, Tevez missing that chance against United that kept West Ham up, ect;
nerner
Great find Seddo; I especially like the cutting, actually did confuse me as to the first clip as it was seamlessly done. I may not agree completely with the principles of chaos theory but sport is a great example of how life is by all accounts a game of inches. On the subject of great videos, this one is slightly longer but it is fantastic, it is entitled "The Two Escobars" and follows the lives and deaths of Pablo and Andrés Escobar and how they are both linked in such an incredible way despite the fact that they were polar opposites as people. I'll post the first part here now; it's a great video, ESPN are really great at making good sports documentaries, and I've recorded the whole of their 30 for 30 series. SIKKS66
That video is sublime, Seddo. f*ck me, I got chills. Reminds me why I love football. The same guy's done a video on Xavi which I will use as evidence from now on whenever I tell someone my belief that he is the most complete footballer in the world game today. Theodoro
Arsenal for the League this time; Nasri is unreal... Come on you Gooners!!! Ah its been awhile on here.. "That is why people pay money to watch football." I'm quietly confident for Monday's match. Arsenal never get battered at Old Trafford these days, and they always tend to give oursleves a good showing.

SIKKS66
Barcelona have agreed a deal for a shirt sponsor, a non-profit organization called the Qatar Foundation. Deal is worth £25million a year (Manchester United and Real Madrid both earn a little over £20m a year for their rights, while Bayern Munich make around £23m). Kinda sh*tty tbh. Hope they keep the Unicef logo. The Qatar Foundation logo on a Barca shirt would be one ugly shirt:
3minty3
Kinda sh*tty tbh. Hope they keep the Unicef logo. The Qatar Foundation logo on a Barca shirt would be one ugly shirt. I read that the new logo is to share shirt space with UNICEF. I suppose if the club is needing to repay debts then this is the right move. You would think that if they are paying £25 million a year to Barcelona then they would have a better logo.
SilentSeas
Saw this on Robert's Web tonight Just goes to show that its not just the English who were upset with the WC voting result.
Ari Gold
It just goes to show that Europeans aren't the only ones who play soccer. The media over here were absolutely loathing, not to mention pretty much everyone at school. If that isn't enough, not to mention all the Facebook groups dedicated to the sh*ttiness of Qatar's football, such as, "The awkward moment when you realise Qatar don't have a team on FIFA." The side them-self will be absolutely slaughtered at the WC. Australia played them in WC qualifying a few years ago, and they managed to beat them 3-0 with a slightly-weakened team, so imagine if they end up being drawn against a team which can properly play, like Spain or Germany. To be honest, though, us and the Americans have more reason to complain than you guys (to be fair), since it's just ignorant to compare a country like Russia to freakin' Qatar. Although, I can definitely understand why you guys are upset (as an Anglophile, I would've loved to see a World Cup in England).
Seddo
Europeans don't play soccer, they play football . Well some Qatar billionaire or the Qatar FA (if they have one) should set up a youth football camp and get some top trainers in, they have the money and a sh*t load of time to see if they can get anyone decent, if it all goes wrong then it's not like they lose much, must be like losing a few pennies .
