Girish
Well done Everton! Chelsea seem crap at the moment, we play them on the 19th and i think we will beat them. You think? The way we're playing, you should. We seem to be pretty much down in the dumps and right now, every team must be fancying their chances against Chelsea. This current formation is not working. Carlo should try and change things a bit. Also, our midfield and defense is looking in shambles. Ramires and Mikel are no good; Kalou and Zhirkov haven't really clicked either. The squad is ageing. If we don't make any good signings soon, we'll be struggling to stay in the top 4.

SIKKS66
You'll end up bottling it anyway. This is true. Their defense is a major f*ck up waiting to happen. Unlike some others, I'm glad the game was off vs. Blackpool. More time to rest before Arsenal and Chelski. Bring em on!
nerner
I can't be the only person who doesn't want any of the big 2 to win the league this year. For me it's really quite depressing watching Chelsea and Man Utd wrestling for the chance to be double winners again. I'd much prefer Arsenal winning the league, although Wenger needs to remove his head from his arsehole pretty quick and sign a half-decent 'keeper. Almunia, Mannone and Fabianski are just not good enough for a manager who wants to push for honours. I like Wenger, but sometimes I wish that he wasn't so stubborn with regards to change, it seems that the more people that advise him to do something, the less he'll actually be keen to do something. There's sticking with what you have and then there's not signing Shay Given to replace all of those cocks. That young Polish guy is a great future prospect but they need to start building for now rather than 10 years time. They haven't done that for God knows how long. SIKKS66
It would make things more interesting for sure. But I can't say I don't like United winning the league If this young keeper is the future I don't see why Wenger doesn't bring in a seasoned veteran to bridge the gap while the kid gets a bit more experience. Given, Friedel, Jääskeläinen, Cudicini etc all may be past their best but would be a safer set of hands than Almunia imo. I'm sure one of the smaller Spanish clubs would offer them a fair bob for him too, sell him now while he's worth something. And I seriously can't see why Arsenal haven't gone for Giorgio Chiellini yet. I've been thinking this for years. A real commanding center back and I think he'd fit in well at Arsenal. Juve are nowhere near the team they were (knocked out of Europa League right?) and he'd probably jump at the chance to play at Arsenal. Still pretty young too. If he did go to Arsenal, I'd put good money on him being in the PL team of the year. Might cost a lot but look at what Ferdinand has done at United. Chiellini is 26. If Arsenal were to break the bank (and they sure as sh*t don't need any more attacking talent) he'd be a solid buy.

A great talent but Arsenal have actually distanced themselves from him in the past. They'd get a lot of mileage out of him as he's only 21 but he may not want to leave Wolfsburg so soon after joining. Although saying that would you prefer to play for VFL Wolfsburg or Arsenal? I was speaking with my dad and he asked me to get ready to buy L.A Galaxy Tickets on January for Ronaldinho first games. So, is this true? I've actually heard rumors over the summer about Ronaldinho being linked with the LA Galaxy (before he stayed with AC Milan). As of right now, the rumor you heard isn't true, but I hear the AC Milan coach is frustrated with Ronaldinho partying all night, so there could be a very small chance that Ronaldinho leaves in January, though I doubt it. The Killa
There's been endless rumors of him coming to LA, which were at their peak when he left Barcelona but he agent pretty much laughed it off and he went to AC Milan instead. Who knows, but anything can happen now. We have Ljungberg, Henry and Becks all playing in the MLS. Would love to see him here personally. Seems a bit odd a few years ago he was the best player in the world and then completely dropped off the radar. Simon Kjaer is another one. A great talent but Arsenal have actually distanced themselves from him in the past. They'd get a lot of mileage out of him as he's only 21 but he may not want to leave Wolfsburg so soon after joining. Although saying that would you prefer to play for VFL Wolfsburg or Arsenal? Kjaer is top class. Been to Denmark so many times and I've seen him play. He will stay at Wolfsburg for a while (as I imagine with Dzeko as well) but if he's going anywhere else it'll be a few years off. Could imagine him in the Premiership easily. Also on a somewhat related note - Bundesliga is brilliant. That is all.
Theodoro
Good 3 points for Arsenal but after the Fulham goal our performance left alot to be desired. Arsenal is top of the league and for longer than 3 hours this time. I see Walcott has gone back to his old ways, head down, run into the corner flag and hoof the ball out. nerner
Seems a bit odd a few years ago he was the best player in the world and then completely dropped off the radar. I was thinking about that this morning actually. I suppose everyone got so caught up in Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi that they completely forgot about him. Which isn't that bad I guess as to be honest I thought he was just a bit of a poser, all skill yet no substance whatsoever.
SIKKS66
Remember him against United last season? Going forward he is still very good but when it came to tracking back he was none existent. The Milan frontline just stayed upfield meaning United's attack had plenty of time on the ball and space. He's past it to say the least. Too selfish for most teams to go for him now. Plus he's getting on a bit.
Lethal Nizzle
Cardiff have been shocking recently, and still shocked to see they drew yesterday. Of all people to equalise for us, Andy bloody Keogh, when Michael Chopra was sat on the bench twiddling his thumbs. Dave Jones is up a tree at the moment! The Killa
Not sure I fancy our chances against Villa tomorrow. They seem off-form and have some players out, but why is it that we're always the team that the off-form team always wins against and re-finds themselves? Or is it that we just lose to everyone anyway? Looking forward to it though. Afternoon kick off (my time!). Love it.
Theodoro
I watched Arsenal's two goals this morning and Nasri done brilliant, great balance and skill. Easily been Arsenal's best player this season & Nasri is one of my favorite players in the league. His style is so easy on the eye. He has decent potential and seems to be shining in Cesc's absence. For the Liverpool - Villa, Houllier will get a nice reception I expect, I think Liverpool will win, there's signs they've got their act together at home recently. SIKKS66
Chris Hughton has just been sacked. Newcastle are actually the most stupid, feckless, clueless football club that has ever been or ever will be. Apparently they want someone with more "experience". Uuuuuh, you're 11th in the league! You've just been promoted back into the Premier League by a young, talented manager who got you out of that mess in the first place. I don't care who they get in now. Hope they get relegated and f*cking stay there. Edit: Let me rephrase that; Mike Ashley is the most stupid, feckless, clueless football club owner that has ever been or ever will be. Even as a neutral, this has left me pissed off. Hughton is a credit to our game, I hope he gets another top job soon. Mand'alor
Newcastle fans are absolutely livid about this. Mike Ashley, as usual, proves he's a clueless dick. Did he think Newcastle could mount a 4th place challenge or something after just being promoted? Moron. I really hope Hughton lands a better job, he deserves it. JOSEPH X
Anywhere is a better job than Newcastle for a manager. Just seen this - I'm pretty livid that he's been fired, he was doing a good job.
SIKKS66
There's a lot of talk about Martin O'Neill replacing him. Also talk of Pardew and Curbishley. Well done, Mike Ashley. Either way, you have just taken one MASSIVE step sideways with regards to the Newcastle manager seat. O'Neill is far too high-maintenance, Hughton was a quiet, smooth operator. If the board had given him some money to spend, who knows what he could have achieved this year. Hughton had earned that managers seat last season and at the very minimum he deserved a season in the top flight to prove himself. Absolute disgrace this is. The Killa
Absolutely shocked by that. But doing steadily well the first season they're promoted is something to not look down upon. He's an up-and-coming manager who probably could have done great things with Newcastle. What on earth are they expecting? A title challenge? Why are clubs always so quick to sack managers who are clearly doing good things for them? Such a negative attitude, that is.
Seddo
That's a f*cking shocking decision, he got them promoted back into the Premier League and pretty much twatted the Championship in the process, he's wasn't doing a bad job at Newcastle and have had some good results. Does Mike Ashley think they should be storming the league?, it's going to take a bit of time to get some better players into to make that European push once again. mike ashley really is a clown This x 1000000 Edit: Lol @ Sepp Blatter... Those suitcases filled with money are a real tripping hazard. Edited December 6, 2010 by Seddo
nerner
O'Neill could be a success there, but wouldhe really want to take teh rsk of getting the job? He's obviously going to be compared with Keegan until they start to win things, and with the current squad he'll be out on his ear long before then surely. I'll echo everyone else in the thread by saying that Ashley has cut off his own nose to spite his face right there...
