Why all the hate though? If United had so much money you guys would have done the same as City, if Liverpool had such owners we'd have Stanley part park under construction and we'd be filled with other superstars but you don't see any hate from me.

 

No point hating a club just because they have money, no club would every deny the chance to have owners like City given the owners want to sell.

If we're not going to buy a striker in January like Mou has been saying all along, then I guess our only priority this season is to ensure a CL spot for next year, which is going to be a struggle in itself. Fingers crossed.

Even I'm not sure why Chelsea purchased Eto'o. (wages) given it was a free transfer. it was a risk to begin with given that he just isn't the player he used to be at Barelona or Inter Milan. But money isn't a problem for Chelsea so that's why they got him.

 

They're just going to have to keep buying strikers till they find at least one which is suitable for them.

Wow I see Liverpool have consealed that fourth place in your mind. I still think that there are six teams that have a chance of finishing in the top four. City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Everton, Man United. As seeing as how we aren'teven past the Xmas break it is to early to say for sure.

Eto'o was always going to be a stop-gap arrangement which isn't working like Mou hoped. I doubt they ever had any plans of renewing his contract next year anyways.

I said AT THE MOMENT, as things stand. Of course there's a lot of games to be played, but if the teams will keep their shape this way until towards the end of the season, then I can't see any change in the table.

 

I wouldn't write Spurs out tbh, it all just depends on how the new manager will fit in, if he's gonna have any impact or so. If Sherwood or anyone else will get the best out of the players we have right now, I think we can storm in the second half of the season.

But they bought Demba Ba last year! And Schurrle also can play as a striker! And Fernando Torres! How many more forwards need to be bought before Chelsea solves their forward problem?

 

Chelsea's problem is about conceding goals.

Should be a good final between City and United then... unless Sunderland do United like they did Chelsea in which case Sunderland will win the cup, since we can't beat those buggers.
