Lethal Nizzle
Just got my tickets to Cardiff vs. Swansea on the weekend. Can't f*cking wait! Ignore me, turns out my dad's mate promised his son's mate at a ticket, which would've been mine. Gutted. kietotheworld
I think it would be really unfair for Hargreaves to go to the WC. I cant see him being picked anyway, he will only get injured. Isnt he out of contract in the summer? He should be concentrating on getting a new club, not many will give him a contract unless its pay as you play. Good win for City last night...Its going all the way! His contract doesn't expire this summer, and screw fairness, if he'll give England a better chance to win then he should go. He will have to play like the best midfielder ever produced and score in each game if he is to go, which I doubt. When is his contract up?? TommyMufc-Champs
Owen Hargreaves should go to the World Cup, he is a fantastic player when he is fit but he could get injured in the World Cup and that would be a heavy blow. Waddy
To be honest, I am not sure he can recover from this. He still hasnt played yet has he? I hope he does but I cant see him ever being back to anywhere near what he was. nerner
One win in five finals for Carlisle in the JPT, took about bottling it. What an earth was Murphy (i think) doing to give away that early pen. Exactly what the f*ck was he thinking. We are the most successful team in JPT, 5 finals 1 win. I hate to burst your bubble but with 4 finals and 2 wins Bristol City are the most successful team. Sorry mate but Carlisle are by statistics. Hope we win tonight against Munich, I'm going with 2-0 United. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Football_Leag...hy#Wins_by_club Thought you were wrong. Well, actually I knew... Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/706548-the-footy-desk-part-1/page/7/#findComment-1059847919 Share on other sites

JOSEPH X
At least we got an away goal, that's the best you can say about that performance. Don't know the full extent of Rooney's injury but it looks very bad, like a metatarsal. SIKKS66
sh*t. Hopefully Rooney will be back for Saturday. Slightly concerned about next Wednesday now but the away goal should help. DanManUtd
At least we have an away goal I'm a helluva lot more upset that Rooney limped off, especially since we have Ch£l$ki on Saturday... SIKKS66
Fergie saying post match that while it is too early to say conclusively, Rooney is a major doubt for Saturday. Looks like it's Berba leading the attack against everybody's favourite playboy team. All together now; "Yaaaaaaay." In all seriousness, I'll take a draw or a scrappy win on Saturday right now. And a 1-0 win at home next Wednesday isn't beyond all possibility. Looking forward to taking a break from all this bullsh*t for what should be a good match in The Emirates. Waddy
Rooney wont play I dont think on Saturday. It might not be a bad thing anyway, Chelsea would have had 2 men on him all the time man marking. Berbatov has hit some form and he is supposed to be a world class striker so shouldnt be an issue...unless Man Utd ARE a 1 man team? TommyMufc-Champs
Rooney will not play on Saturday in my opinion, we will miss him but we can cope without. Waddy is right, Berba has hit some form lately i just hope he plays well on Saturday. Seddo
It's a real shame about Rooney, really is. Arsenal are getting absolutely raped by Barca, Almunia pulling off some great saves. SIKKS66
Surely all that needs to happen now to completely ruin Arsenal's night (after two injuries before half time and a half-fit Fabregas getting himself suspended) is Henry to come on and score an away goal or two. From a neutral point of view, I'm f*cking loving this.
