LanceVanceDance07
Thing is, with instant replay, the game gets slowed down to a snail's pace. Kinda destroys what makes the beautiful game "beautiful". Why don't the Premier League just have more officials, like in the Europa League, where there is an official by each goal, just to keep a closer eye on things. There has to be a way to eliminate or greatly reduce bad officiating calls, while keeping the pace of the game what it is.
The Killa
Yet it isn't beautiful when blatant diving, fouls, penalties, and goals go unnoticed. Doesn't have to be a long dragged-out ordeal. Referee meets with the linesman, takes a quick look at what happened and decide on the right call. I was about to ask that, has those extra referees in the Europa League actually worked so far? Aside from Liverpool matches I haven't been arsed watching any other EL games enough to know
TommyMufc-Champs
Well thanks Liverpool I really didn't expect 2-0 Liverpool and I certainly didn't expect 2 goals from Torres. Torres was always going to regain his form, he is a world class striker. Just in time for the Jan transfer window... Yep just In time. I new he would get back to his best but I thought he would move In Jan and do better at his new club.
Mand'alor
I'm worried about the derby tomorrow night now. Fergie has said he can't even pick a team at the moment as he has no idea who will be available what with injures and a virus infecting half the squad. Aside from Liverpool matches I haven't been arsed watching any other EL games enough to know Not really. There was a case last year where the wrong player was sent off at the recommendation of the behind-goal official. At the end of the day, they are only human, so no matter how many of them there are and where they are placed, they'll still make mistakes. I call bullsh*t, just a bit of ol' mind games from Fergie. And at video technology...look how long it takes for the ref to sort order out after an incident has occurred, having a video ref on the sidelines with voice communication to the ref on the pitch wouldn't take that long to get the verdict across. I'll use that Argentina-Mexico game at the World Cup, the goal was shown on the screen by accident and the Mexican players new within about 5 seconds that it was offside but of course the ref couldn't go back on his decision as he wasn't supposed to see that footage. Ari Gold
Quite a drap derby. Brilliant save by Van der Sar to keep out Tevez's shot, and was quite humourous seeing Rafael take it up with Donkey. Apart from that, there was not much in the game which drastically kept me awake (the game started a 7:00 AM over here), but I'm quite content with the result, particularly since it's against a fellow title challenger; twelve matches into the season and we're still undefeated (as far as I know, that's a record), and we're only four points behind Chelsea, while we're still yet to play them; there can't be anything wrong with that, so I disagree with a lot of the sorrow which some United fans have been feeling over the past few months. Bring on Villa!
TommyMufc-Champs
Yeah we are still unbeaten, It would be great If we could go the whole season unbeaten. I suppose It was an OK result last night, City are quite strong at home, they beat Chelsea so they are a threatening team. Carrick has found his form again, he was pretty good last night. I think we should of started Chicharito instead of Berbatov.
Ari Gold
Chicharito has a bright future ahead of him, and so does Obertan. If either of them are ever going to be as good as Ronaldo or Rooney, then Sir Alex needs to play them so they can get adapted to the English game. They both come from countries whose style of football is different from that in England, so they, just like Berbatov, Tevez and Ronaldo, will need a few years of experience before they can really shine in the English league. Even if Chicharito played every game this season, he still wouldn't perform as well as people expect him too in the next twelve months; he needs a few years of consistency to settle, and the same thing applies to any attacking player from outside the UK who wants to do very well for himself in the Premier League. Seddo
Can anybody remember when Wigan actually dominated a game? They should be gutted they only got the draw. A decent first 20 minutes with some good football (for a change) and then we decided to sit back against the mighty Wigan. We couldn't string 3 passes together last night and the defence was a a bit sh*t. I suppose 10 points out of 12 ain't to bad.

3minty3
Chelsea part way with Ray Wilkins Genuinely shocked. I have no idea what might have caused this, just hope it's nothing serious. Though I am looking forward to see who will replace him. EDIT: McEachran got into the England U21. Great stuff. SIKKS66
Actually missed the game yesterday (since when do Premier League matches occur midweek!?) because I was out in Liverpool of all places. Glad I didn't miss much As for Wilkins leaving Chelsea, they've lost one of their best coaches and I'm interested to see how they do without him. Capello should snap him up as his #2 as soon as possible tbh.

Brown Sugar
so pissed of right now, i would have taken a draw before the game because of the players we had out due to injuries but we played well until that c*nt macheda scored, i hate him so much
Vercetti27
man utd were jammy in that game . they should of been 4-0 down. that equaliser hides the cracks, they've been average this season . unlucky villa
TommyMufc-Champs
What a match! 2-2. Villa deserved to win but we never gave In and that Macheda goal just gave us that inspiration and I knew we were going to get another.

Bates_GTA
Fergies Five Minutes yet again at the end. I'm sick of this bias bullsh*t from the referee. Ashley Young celebrates with the crowd for his first goal, He's shown a yellow card. Vidic celebrates with the crowd for his equalizer, He's not shown a yellow card (which would have effectively been his 2nd & a red card would have followed). The Carling Cup Final springs to mind, when Vidic SHOULD have been sent off against us, But of corse he's not, it's complete and utter tosh. Anyway, i watched the game late on, And was chuffed to see us level, But gutted to find we were 2-0 up and dominating, up until the 75th. EDIT: Have to praise our Young boys as well though, Almost half of which were part of our reserve side, All hugely influential: Alrighton, Bannan was absolutely quality, tiny player but his passing and vision is just unreal, Delfouneso, Hogg up against Fletcher & Scholesy in the middle, Played magnificently. Lichaj as well. So many positives to take from the game, but as always, it feels like 2 points dropped. But yeah it was a good perfomance by Villa's youngsters. A good lesson learnt: you can never, ever switch off in a footy match, especially against United.
