Don't forget we've got Lukaku as well, and even Schurrle can play as a ST if we really need him to. We've got the right amount of forwards imo, but not necessarily the right players. If we do get another striker, then I think it'll be pretty likely that either Ba or Torres goes. Also we don't even know what formation Jose is going to use, if he sticks with 1 up front then the amount we have is probably fine. But if he wants to switch it to 2 up front, then adding an extra striker does make more sense.

Rooney isn't an out and out striker though, he offers more than that to a team when he's on form. Mourinho will be without Drogba this time at Chelsea and whilst Ba is a great talent, he's doesn't have that game changing magic, Drogba could bring, and an inform Rooney can bring. I'd love to see Chelsea getting Rooney, simply to see how Mourinho's man management could alter him as a player. They'd probably use him in a free role along side a main striker like a fake 9, and then play the more 'delicate' one touch players like Mata, Oscar and Hazard around him. No doubt it wouldn't take Terry very long to bed Colleen either but that's a different matter.

I think they have spent close to 100M now surely while we have spent f*ck all. Business will pick up though in the next couple of weeks and Moyes did say that business will be kind of later than we have had in the past with Sir Alex

I know it might seem that but we're getting rid of quite a few too and buying player's for positions we're weak in. Barry will probably be going and so Fernandinho is there to replace him. Navas and Jovetic will be our wide-men (which we didn't really have at all). Negredo to replace Mario. I doubt Pepe will come to be honest, what with Lescott staying.
