The best thing to do with young players like this get behind them to give them more confidence. Not worried one bit about Zaha. Came on and was actually a joy to watch. Its a great way to see how your team is shaping up. Like you said, which youth players are playing could be an indication that they're ready to make in impact on the first team for the coming season. Also, the way new signings are bedding in gives you an opportunity to see where the team needs strengthening in the remaining weeks of the transfer window. West Ham have bagged have won all 3 pre-season games and look remarkably free-scoring which is good although the opposition is not exactly belting. Also seen some really encouraging signs from Ravel Morrison that he's ready to step up this year and its unlikely that we'll loan him out again. Which is all great news. Seddo Posted July 15, 2013 Share Posted July 15, 2013 What the hell, i made a post and then it disappeared when i come back to the topic....i've been silenced by some United higher ups for saying Cesc was a smokescreen for Leon Osman. Also Cesc spent 3 years trying to get his move back to Barcelona and although he's not first choice and may be frustrated by lack of game time i can't see him leaving just yet. As for friendlies i try to watch them if i can, like a few have said i like to see the younger lads player with the seniors and to see how new signings are getting on.
