Girish
Always surprising how cheap German players go abroad. Gomez to Fiorentina for €16m... Oh wow, that's a steal. I still don't know why we didn't go for Gomez when we need a striker so desperately. We would have probably overpaid for him, but still... Jovetic could be leaving now but he seems to have his heart set on Juventus.
Joseph Cooke
Always surprising how cheap German players go abroad. Gomez to Fiorentina for €16m... I can imagine had it been a wealthy club going after Gomez, Bayern would have extracted more cash out of them. Always the way. --- Sky saying Arsenal have bid for Suarez. Find it hard to envision that move for some reason. Then again, stranger things have happened.

I'd have loved to see Gomez at Stanford Bridge. 16M is definitely a steal... tough luck I guess, hopefully we get a Striker (a good one) as mentioned above by Stu. Verdi.
Atletico picked up David Villa for around 5mil. He's past his prime, and hasn't really been the same since the leg break, but he can still contribute. Did Spurs miss out on this one? Also, it seemed as though no other teams were pursuing Gomez. No idea why though, I always thought he was class.
GroundZero
That's a gigantic transfer for Fiorentina, Gomez is surely going to help them A LOT.

He's past his prime, and hasn't really been the same since the leg break, but he can still contribute. Our board is a f*cking joke. It has nothing with him being past his prime. He's still a striker that is guaranteed to score 20+ goals for you at least a couple of seasons and €5* is a luaghable price for him. He was our 2nd best scorer (behind Messi, obviously) last season despite playing way, way less than Pedro and Sanchez. * Its actually €2.1 not €5. Barca will only get €5 if he stays at Atletico for 2 seasons. Terrible deal, I tell ya.
Nlwt
Quite a small price tag for David Villa, even though he was at his peak a few years back. Benteke has handed in a transfer request. I reckon he'll go to Spurs.
GTA_stu
Damn that is a crazy good deal for Fiorentina. I've always liked Gomez, he's an incredible player. You'd imagine then that Jovetic would be leaving. I can't see him going to Juve though. I mean they've already bought Tevez and Llorente, and they've still got the likes of Matri, Quagliarella, Giovinco and Vucinic. I don't really rate Jovetic that highly anyways tbh, his goal scoring record doesn't exactly set the pulse racing. Yes he's young and he has talents other than just scoring, but what we need is a proven goalscorer who can come straight to us and start banging them in left right and centre. I don't see Jovetic as that player. What we need is someone like Gomez, I really think he'd be ideal. Yeah he looks like George McFly, but I'm willing to look past it. fgcarva1
Close finish for promotion in the Nigerian league. What the f*ck? There's a team called "Police Machine FC"? Shiit. And I love how the BBC still has the "Andy Murray beats Novak Djokovic and wins Wimbledon!" banner at the top of the page.
Joseph Cooke
Schwarzer to Chelsea. Good signing provided he's there as a back-up. I do recall when Fulham played Crusaders (a Belfast team), sitting behind him and watching him have some good banter with the Crus' fans. Oh, thought this was worthy of a giggle... I don't understand why they would do this, i know two teams are fighting for promotion but why would the other two teams decided to let the opposition score as many as they want? Joseph Cooke
Everton get Deulofeu on a loan deal. Verdi.
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck If I were Liverpool, I'd cash in on this twat ASAP. Great player, but Anne Hathaway's lookalike has too much baggage (biting players, consistent diving, and other antics) Cash in, and bring in other targets to strengthen the overall squad. Other teams want him, and he's looking to get out. That being said, I'm just as surprised as he is. Arsenal?!?
The Killa
I'm sorry Seddo Its all Gotzes fault, the twat. I also wish Suarez would shut his f*cking gob, it's like he's trying his best to make everyone in England hate him, his own supporters included. LFC supporters are very traditional, valuing their history and often very respectful. Suarez stands for everything that is not LFC-like. Sure, Liverpool can get a few more bucks out of him, but they should just sell him now. I'm sure they can get another excellent player (or two) with 30 mil.
