Is that just money spent on players? It seems like the normal inference to draw from that, but its importance could potentially be skewed if it includes all spending concerning the management/maintenance of the club (loan re-payments, wages to other non-playing staff, merchandise etc.)

I have Sky Sports but I won't be getting that BT Sports which will be showing a few games so FirstRow and other streams were my options for games I can't watch.

 

They should lower the prices for the sports channels. Way too expensive!

But I agree the pricing is far too high, not just for the sports channels but the whole satellite or cable packages, considering most of the stuff is repeats or channels you'll just never watch and then on the sports channels you may only be interested in 1 maybe 2 sports, yet you have to pay for sh*t like cricket as well.

Two great continental "rivalries", first semi-final with only World Champs in a FIFA competition in a while. I feel like even without Balo, Italy can somehow get through Spain. Yes, I know they're playing horribly, but whatever.

 

So, there was a controversial call on Italy second goal...

 

 

Look at how the ref calls a penalty, blowing the whistle, then making the goal legitimate. I have not seen such incompetence in reffing in a while. How can this dumbf*ck just point at the spot and blow his whistle, then immediately look the other way and call a goal.

 

Anyway, one of our goals was offside, so I don't really care. The Uzbek ref (forgot his name, but he has done like 5 WC matches and 2 Club WCs) was terrible, horrendous, idiotic... the amount of stupid fouls and yellow cards was ridiculous.

Well, I'm surprised Carlos didn't leave us some time ago, but his departure still saddens me. One of my favorite, or possibly my favorite, ever City player(s). Single-handedly got us into Europe and combined with Yaya (towards the end) his goals won City's first trophy in my lifetime. That business in Munich could have spoilt my view of him completely, but he made up for it well, coming back and helping us win the title. His quality accompanied by his work rate is irreplaceable in my opinion. Goodbye and Good Luck Carlos.

I'm not, he's a cracking player! Was Tevez's wage slip not leaked once? I'm not sure if it was fake, probably was, but if it wasn't it would easy enough to figure out how much he earns. Plus it was just Yahoo reporting it, it was all sourced from the Times a very reputable paper.
