Well he left Ajax when he was banned for 8 matches for a similar incident, I wouldn't be suprsied if he does the same thing here.

10 games is probably about right. Not too harsh and not lenient either.

 

@Max I think the problem with doing a set time period is that not every team will play the same amount of games in a given time. So if you had 2 players who committed the same offence, like pushing a ref. If you gave them both a 3 month ban, it could be unfair if one team plays 12 games in that time whilst another plays 16. Plus it's not always clear how many games a team will be playing in a given amount of time, fixtures always change or get postponed.

 

I think the fixed amount of games is easier to hand out because there's more certainty about it.

I think the FA were lenient to be honest, I expected 12 games minimum. He hasn't learnt his lesson from last time so its not a bad result for him. However I still think he will leave Liverpool this summer.
