flitcroft101
So what's the opinions on the Abla Robben incident? Alba is a petulant child. Robben is a c*nt though so it's okay.
JOSEPH X
So what's the opinions on the Abla Robben incident? A clear wipe out. Shoulda been a free kick. Barcelona would still have got hammered though - they got played off the park tonight by Bayern. There's no coming back from this.
Gtaghost22
So what's the opinions on the Alba-Robben incident? Alba acted like a comple c*nt. I don't know what happened to him, he was a pretty laid back guy in the first half of this season. Edit: You mean the 3rd goal? Muller clearly pushed Alba imo. I thought you were talking about the incident that happened in the last few minutes. Edited April 23, 2013 by Gtaghost22
Mista J
Alba went down too easy tbh. If he hates contact he should play golf.
GtaVComments
@Joseph. I was referring to the ball in the face one. What you think about that. I kind of think it's a red for deliberate foul play while the ball isn't even in play, but its 50:50. Regardless a football to the nose hurts quite a lot
flitcroft101
It's definitely a red. It was malicious as hell and Alba is a f*cking idiot for doing it... that being said if anyone has watched the spanish league they know Alba is a child.
GTA_stu
Wholly sh*t, I was not expecting that. Fair play to Bayern, they played out their skins. I think Robben made more tackles in that game than in all his previous games combined. Incredible game. I'm happy Barca lost anyways, and good that they're on the other end of some bad decisions for once. One man team.

A J
That's 'malicious as hell' ? Nice one GtaGhost Alba is a twat, but nothing much in that.
Der_Don
Childish behaviour from Alba there. Overall I think Barca had more yellow cards than shots on target. I've never seen them this poor. Tie well and truly over.
Gtaghost22
I've never seen them this poor. I have, against Real in 2008 (4-1). I have never seen Messi this poor, though. Usually when people say he played ''bad'' they really mean ''he didn't score'' but tonight he was just awful.

Eoghan
Wow Barca sucked tonight, I think a yellow card was enough for Alba though, Robben did appear to be antagonizing and there wasn't any harmed caused just clearly Albas frustration coming through. I hope Barca can play more freely in the second leg and show there real skill as they have very little chance of going through and can relax a bit more and try to play there football. Bayern were definitely the better team but Barca were a bit unlucky as I dont think Gomez' and Robbens goal shouldn't have been allowed.
Max
Alba went down too easy tbh. If he hates contact he should play golf. I disagree. It was a pretty solid and deliberate body check and should have undoubtedly ruled out the 3rd goal. Muller had no reason to be making that movement unless it was to check Alba. Also @flitcroft: Malicious? Man up. That being said, Bayern absolutely dominated. I hate Bayern with a passion, I think they're a horrible team for the most part but you can't say they didn't deserve it tonight.
Master of San Andreas
Barca you let me down. Well played Bayern. We have no chance of winning but let's hope Madrid lose to Dortmund, Atleast it will be an all German final.

Malicious Characterized by malice; intending or intended to do harm: "malicious rumors". It was malicious, it wasn't a friendly throw the ball in your face. It might not hurt but it's the intent that counts... chucking a ball in someones face with the ball out of play because you are losing is pretty pathetic. Alba is a stupid cry baby. Hoffentlich läufts heute Abend ähnlich gut für die deutsche Mannschaft I have never seen Messi this poor, though. Usually when people say he played ''bad'' they really mean ''he didn't score'' but tonight he was just awful. But Messi's injured right? No surprise he was sh*t yesterday. Ari Gold
I take no pleasure in "hating" any team, but for some reason, I just cannot stand Barcelona. I love Lionel Messi, but the team as a whole... My God, do I feel happy when they're put into check by someone like Bayern.
OliRow
Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has been banned for 10 games by the Football Association for biting Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic. The incident happened during Sunday's 2-2 draw between the sides. Following the bite, the 26-year-old apologised for biting the Chelsea defender and spoke to Ivanovic personally to say sorry. Liverpool have fined Suarez but insist he still has a future with the Premier League club. An FA statement read: "A three-person Independent Regulatory Commission today upheld The FA's claim that a suspension of three matches was clearly insufficient and the player will serve a further seven first-team matches in addition to the standard three. The suspension begins with immediate effect. "The Liverpool forward had accepted a charge of violent conduct but had denied The FA's claim that the standard three-match sanction was insufficient for the offence. "The incident was not seen by the match officials and has therefore been retrospectively reviewed. "Suarez has until midday on Friday, 26 April to appeal the additional suspension, above the standard three matches." The ban covers their final four games of this season, and the first six games of 2013-14. LFC managing director Ian Ayre said: "Both the club and player are shocked and disappointed at the severity of today's Independent Regulatory Commission decision. "We await the written reasons tomorrow before making any further comment." It is not the first time Suarez has been charged with such an offence. He was banned for seven games when he was at Ajax after biting PSV Eindhoven midfielder Otman Bakkal's shoulder during a match in November 2010. During his time at Liverpool, he was also given an eight-match ban and £40,000 fine by the FA for racially abusing Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra in December 2011. Max
So he's getting a 10 game ban. I think players should be banned for a length of time and not a specific number of matches. To me it sends a clearer message.

Shoumaker
I think the ten match ban serves him right. The ban definitely had to be longer then the last incident he had with Patrice Evra in my opinion and I honestly think Liverpool have dodged a bullet right there as four of the games of this lengthy ban will be covered this season already. I'm not sure if you guys remember but I honestly felt the FA would charge him at least twenty games after his biting incident that occurred when he used to play for Ajax. I hope he really learns this time around because he will have a long time to reflect upon his actions. There are some people that never learn and I hope he isn't one of them. GtaVComments
I haven't had time to read the full story but does this 10 game ban account for European games and cup games too or just PL?

To be honest, at 26 I already feel like Suarez is old enough to know better. This isn't the case of a young hothead that will hopefully settle down if we give him some more time. At 26 he is middle aged in footballing terms, he's not some 20 year old, fresh out of the Slum with just his talent. He's had enough chances and enough controversy to give him a wake-up call and yet nothing seems to have changed his behaviour. I think he's simply a c*nt. @GTAVcomments: No, it will be domestic competitions only, so PL and League Cup over the course of the ban. The FA doesn't have the juristiction to enforce European bans. Joseph Cooke
10 games! Holy smokes. Did not see that coming to be honest. So he'll miss a good chunk of the start of next season. Hmmm. Maybe he won't be there at all?
