Be grateful that you don't have to wait until 12am every week-end night just to watch Premier League football; THAT'S heartbreaking (for your body clock, at least).

I officially received my ticket from my mate for Manchester United's game in Sydney in July, against the A-League all-stars. Only $35, for seats are partially blocked, but from what my friend has told me we're sitting quite close to the front of the ground. Given that it's seven months away, my excitement hasn't quite piqued yet, but considering that the last time they came out to Australia was in 1999 (when I was six years old), I'm going to have a ball. Tickets have already sold out, from what I know, so I'm sure the atmosphere will be Old Trafford-esque, as well, if I was to be sacrilege and compare the Olympic Stadium to OT. Driving from Melbourne to Sydney will also be p, p fun.

I'm just hoping they don't play some half-assed second team.

You woke up at 12am?! Are you nocturnal? mercie_blink.gif

The tigers are joint top of the Championship! Hull beat Derby yesterday and now they're level on points with Cardiff, but Cardiff have a slightly better GD. Like to see my cities' club doing well.

And that'll be sick Stef, I'm sure the atmosphere will be exactly the same as it is at OT. That is to say it will be total sh*te. tounge.gif

City XI for today's match against Reading:

Hart

Zabaleta

Kolo Toure

Nastasic

Rekik wow.gif

Garcia

Barry

Silva

Yaya Toure

Aguero

Tevez

Premier League debut for young Karim. Can't decipher what formation that is either. Maybe just the usual 4-2-3-1.

Good game for him to get a nod, no offense to Reading but they are a smaller club and this will get him some experience, especially at Premiership level.

I think they're playing him at left back. Even better, he may be prone to a nervy slip-up and I wouldn't want that happening if he was playing in the middle.

not very convincing, I don't like Podolski playing left back, but Wilshere dominated the match, despite some of the antics from wigan. The yellow card he was punished with for that top tackle was hilarious, but no-one will make anything of it.

Can't feel very sorry for Wigan, their fans acted hard done by every time one of their players gave away a free kick, apart from that Di Santo farce, the ref got everything right to be fair.

That was either a really good joke or a clever use of sarcasm. orly.gif

... Finally, jeez that was like drawing teeth that, thanks Gaz Baz.

Not a good performance, didn't finish off chances or take risks to create chances.

School Report: Must do better.

Damn it City tounge.gif I expected them to destroy Reading but when I switched it on in the 88th minute and it was still 0-0 I stupidly got hopeful lol

Reading deserved a point there. They worked they're arses off and got nothing. At least they can take away the positives and Mancini must've been anxious there. Below par performance from City imo.

Stoke are doing a good job, they have to play like they do and they are very effective, hats of to Pulis.

Anyway, Liverpool won at home!!! wow.gifwow.gif

Madrid just fell to Malaga 3-2 lol.gif Mourinho is definitely playing around for an exit. I've never seen a Mourinho team play so sh*tty.

It's bad because they shouldn't have lost in the first place. Just look at them. They're a 'high quality' team. The least I expected was that they'd win..

Not bad going considering they only lost 3-2.

Well for some reason Madrid always find a way to score against Malaga. He dropped Casillas tonight and openly stated that he thinks Adan is the better keeper right now LOL that will not go down with the Real Madrid faithful. It's getting to such a ridiculous stage this season, he seems to have lost all control.

It's because he is eyeing a move to United when Fergie retires. wink.gif

In all seriousness, seems a tad fishy to me. Real Madrid will probably starting winning again soon.

Madrid aren't gonna win any time soon. They don't have what it takes to recover from what's happened this season, too many egos.

Yeah, kinda what you say. It's the same sh*t Real are through what Barcelona was last season, but just worse. Well, with Ronaldo moving to United and Mourinho leaving as it's being speculated, I suppose Barcelona will not have any opponent for some seasons. tounge.gif

Some shocking sh*tty decisions in England yesterday. Fair enough the job of an official is hard but standards are slipping each year it seems.

Madrid 16 points behind Barca now, that league is well and truly over now. Could be a rare occasion where Atletico finish above Madrid, assuming they keep hold off Falcao in Jan. No way Jose will be at Madrid next year and strong rumours linking him to PSG, could be possible as he's not conquered the French league yet.

Next bounce back from us yesterday, how tight is the Prem at the moment from 2nd place down, 1 win or defeat see's you move several places. Apparently Sturridge having a medical today, could be a great buy for us although once again a little pricey.
