I wouldn't even want to attempt to have a go at anyone Rio's size; despite Rio being in big trouble himself if he does anything. It's also not worth having a ban to go an watch the sport and team you love. It's f*cking pathetic anyway. I wouldn't dream of attacking a City player/fan just because of who they play for. I have never, ever understood why a club should be penalised for the fans behavior, if it was a player then yes as that player is paid by the club but a fan isn't paid by the club so doesn't come under the clubs own disciplinary code of conduct.

 

Yes that fan was a douche bag and will more than likely be banned from further games and yes the fan should be punished by the extent of the law, but there is the solution, the law deals with it and the perpetrator takes for the fall for their own individual actions, it's not like the club have asked him to do that or encourage him to do that, so the club should have no recourse from it what so ever. And if the old argument about failing to control their fans, then why the hell do football clubs pay the local police force to manage security at games, shouldn't then the police be punished for it.

Wow us scoring 3 goals and coming back from behind. That was probably or second worst game this season so it's sort of nice not playing to our ability and getting a win. Played decent for the first 20ish and last 15ish minutes, think the injuries of Enrique and Diame swung the game in different directions.

Messi has just scored a brace in under 30 minutes, i think that puts him one a head of Muller's 85 goals in a calender year (although he's played like 6 games more...). He's just unreal as well. Just noticed that he's still only 25, surely this lad isn't human.

Yup, Messi just scored his 86th. Still less over 3 weeks left of this calender year, and about 2-3 matches to play, plus the second half of the Betis game. I think he can pull over 90. Falcao is also insane, 5 goals is a lot in one match only, most probably he'll end up over Ronaldo in the top scorers at the end of the season.

I went to the Everton vs Spurs game yesterday and was sat in the lower gwladys with a near perfect view of Jelavic's winner. Atmosphere was the best i've experienced at Goodison for a long while and it must've helped spur us on to victory (no pun intended) and into the top 4!

Such an exciting week. This look was priceless - it was if it lasted a minute on the TV; really made me chuckle. It was such a shame that after such an amazing game, so close and nail biting that the fans had to ruin it and really put a bad mark on the whole thing.

 

Really impressed by Everton's (deserved) comeback, they did seem like the stronger team for the bits I watched (was painting at the same time).
