If we play with energy and high tempo then we can actually pull it off imo. If Anderson is out then play Carrick and Cleverley in the middle, bring on Fletch in the second half for his energy and determination to win the ball back actually I wouldn't mind if he started tbh. Scholes and Giggs need to sit this one out, we need to play with energy. Rio and Evans need to sort it out at the back, Rio has been sh*t lately but Evans has done alright. Can't see sir Alex starting Smalling (because of what happened last time) and Jones.

 

The wings might be a problem. If Valencia is out then it wouldn't be a bad idea to stick Welbeck and Young on the wings. Young was good against Reading (first game this season where he has actually looked threatening going forward) and Welbeck because well he is the only option really As much as I would love to see Chicharito start, I just don't think he will. Sir Alex will stick with Rooney and RVP up front.

 

There's going to be chances at both ends but I'm staying positive and saying 3-1 United.

You would really think the prices these players were bought for and they dont seem a bit interested in winning this game, or any game. They just dont have any exciting players. What happened to the Tevez who was always going forward, always running, always shooting and always scoring? Aguero was a goal machine...

Given how we've been playing lately I'm surprised you're not easily confident of a win.

I had a bad feeling about that group at the start, but thought we could still qualify provided the others dropped points against one another. It hadn't hit me at the time of how badly we'd been playing this season, in a manner that didn't stand a chance against the likes of these boys.

They just dont seem to have any passion, certainly didn't last night. City are doing well in the league too, just really strange.

 

City dont have any like game changing players, We have Fellaini, United have Rooney, and other clubs have their own player than can come on and make it exciting, City just dont have any, maybe its an ego thing, they just looked too comfortable, no pressure for places at all.

Tevez is 50% of the player he was when he first signed for City and when he was at United. With the wages they are getting paid they just dont seem to give a sh*t and even if they had a new manager they would still have nice contracts. Of course they will still be challenging for the title unless European form comes into the prem fixtures but if they dont win the Mancini will go anyway.

Telling everyone that Vidic will play v Cluj and not City, giving City the thought that they can afford to play the likes of Tevez, Aguero, Balotelli, Dzeko etc. Then Utd have a 'fully fit' Vidic to face a somewhat fatigued City attacking line . I hope this is the case.

Vidic will not be playing on Sunday, I can almost guarantee it. He might get 45 against Sunderland the week after but he won't play on Sunday. Especially with no games under his belt and him telling S.A.F that he still needed a couple of days and didn't want to play tonight. Unless something goes horribly wrong of course
