Disappointing game overall. I'm happy with the result though. Bayern will win the league easily, but 6 consecutive unbeaten Bundesliga-games against Bayern is pretty fantastic for us.

Why buy another striker when upfront is the strongest part of the squad? RVP Rooney and Chicarito all bang in form, really no need for another slotter regardless of how boss he is.

Something complicated about the stadium. I think it has like 60,000 seats but health and safety will only allow 47k or something, cant remember exactly but there is something.

47,000+ is the seating capacity for football, 60,000 is the capacity for Concerts etc.

 

The game was near full yesterday, it probably depends on when they decided to do the shots of the crowd and when they added them into the broadcast, not wanting to talk black helicopters and moon landings here, but the broadcasters can be quite selective when it comes to these things. If it was before the end of the match then folk are probably making their way home before the rush, likewise it was before or after half time then Pies take priority, especially when they are that good.

 

I could also go on about optical illusions and light blue seats sticking out like sore thumbs, but I'd probably get 'excuses, excuses' thrown at me.

Why is there such a big difference in attendance for music and sport? Even European football knocks a couple of thousand off City's league attendances.

Well at a concert, folk can stand so that takes up less space and due to the stage layout being at one end where there is less seats there, when you distribute people around it does make a difference.

 

As for European football, UEFA like to round things down to even numbers so it takes it down to 45,500 , "me no know why, they stupid, they Europeans eh?"
