Some Europa league action later. Might watch the Newcastle game to see who is played and not played, ahead of the United game at the weekend.

Got my tickets earlier today - European matches are nice and cheap so far. Couldn't really hope for a tougher back-to-back - although at least we're at home for both, I guess. Would like to see a fairly strong team tonight as, if we're to progress from the group, then we need to get points against Bordeaux. Also want a fully rested team ahead of Sunday's match though too so, as you say, it'll be interesting to see the line-up.

I think Udinese defended well in those final 20 minutes. Di Natale was pure class as usual. Good game anyway .

aj - I think Suarez is one of the best players in the EPL for getting forward and getting past players but he's not the best player in the league.

Canny chuffed with the result tonight. I'd been expecting a close game with a loss possible, especially considering Bourdeaux were unbeaten since some time last season some time - 17 games, I read somewhere. A mix of first and second string players, and some of the latter impressed, such as Obertan (never thought I'd say that) and Shane Ferguson. Good to see Cisse among the goals.

Comfortable 4-1 win over Norwich and an equally comfortable 4 pt. lead at the top of the table. Quite happy to see Torres and Hazard on the scoreboard and Mata was fantastic as usual. Defense needs some work though as we looked shaky whenever Norwich attacked.

United v Newcastle tomorrow, gonna be a tough game. Both teams have had crazy fluctuations in form already this season so pretty tough to call, keeping optimistic that the Rooney RVP partnership will continue to get better though, they looked good in Romania.

Aye. I noticed that Hernandez, RVP and Rooney all started together, and when Hernandez made runs and went on the attack, defenders tended to focus on him more than anyone else, which then gave RVP and Rooney plenty of space to make crosses and cause problems.

 

I hope to see them both in action tomorrow, and hope Nani doesn't be a pr*ck.
