Lionel Messi is a magician. Barcelona are a team of magicians. I wouldn't be surprised if they go on to win, but at the moment my tip lies with Arsenal. Their performance at the Emirates makes it hard not to pick them, but, as football always shows, you never can know until the final whistle is blown.

Chelsea didn't get any help from the 12th man last night. I've said it a few times here that a 1-2 away leg defeat is a big advantage because it ramps up the atmosphere, but you could hear a pin drop last night - the Inter fans were louder!

It'll be interesting to see how much passion the Fulham fans bring to the match tonight. It's a similar scoreline but doable. I remember the best atmosphere ever at Old Trafford was when we brought back an 0-2 deficit from Barcelona. 3-0 FTW!

You can bet the Liverpool fans won't be so muted tonight, they don't have that away goal so need to get at least two and I don't think Lille are one of those teams that can `quieten the home fans`

Barcelona looked great last night and Messi is just quality, he's on something like 31 goals for the season now. For his first goal when he had 4 defenders around him you think he would of been covered but he still pulled something off.

Monday night was the first time i actually enjoyed us play for the first time in a while, hope it continues tonight.

Can we have Phil Brown then? Our manager may be the second longest serving in the division, but I don't think I am alone when I say his time has come and the chairman heeds to get him out before our spiral of decline continues and we get relegated...

Well phase one is complete. Live on sky at the weekend without a manager. That should be interesting. Especially against Newcastle...

The champions league draws.

Tastey. Bayern aren't the team they were but with Robben, Ribery (anyone else bored of hearing that name in transfer rumours?) and the rest of their pretty damn experienced team it won't be easy by a long shot. Having the second leg at home will help too I reckon. I hope Bordeaux qualify too; I'm sick of games against Lyon and it will be great to see Laurent Blanc back at Old Trafford (not that I'm overconfident or anything but I'm sure United have enough to see off Bayern).

Barca/Arsenal will probably be indeed epic. Henry hasn't had a flying season by any stretch but surely he has to do what comes naturally and score a couple at Highbury The Emirates?

My money is on a Manchester United vs. Barcelona final. And this time... WE get to wear the home shirt.

...btw, come on Benfica!

Well what is natural for him at the emirates is to be injured tounge.gif.

I am expecting a warm welcome for henry smile.gif

Bayern Munich are definitely no pushovers. Having Robben and Ribery on the flanks would terrorize any team in the world. Benfica is a good draw too, the 2nd best team left in the competition, totally looking forward to it. We also get Athletico or Valencia in the semis, I'd love Valencia. Or Athletico for Torres' sake. Hell, either way it'll be great.

The match on Sunday is balls, where I live they're only showing Chelsea V. Blackburn on the "soccer" channel (WTF?). Sooo... I guess I'll be streaming the leagues best fixture. -_-

I think the Man Utd game against Bayern will be brilliant, Robben is playing well at the moment and Ribery. Will be a very tough game. I think if Utd can get a draw in Germany they will win it.

What is the maximum Euro places available in the EPL? If CL sides win the FA cup etc and all that? Is it seventh?

Yes.

I just got back from the Portsmouth v Hull game. Portsmouth played very very sh*te but we ended up winning 3-2 so go figure. I was all mopey when they were winning 2-1 towards the end but a fantastic free kick goal from Jamie O'Hara and a nice finish from Kanu put us in the lead. It was almost as tense as the FA Cup QF against Birmingham lol.gif

Come on Manchester United FC we are in control, bring scholes and Giggs on to give us better attacking options to get that all important goal. I cant see Liverpool winning because they are just a bit naff at attacking at the moment so we should win.
