Pretty interesting bet. Suarez will almost certainly play more than RVP in the league being Liverpool's only striker . His second goal on Saturday was the best I've ever seen him score. That was football in its purest form. I was in hysterics.

 

I dunno who the top scorer will be, it really is looking like Demba Ba at the moment despite him apparently being unsatisfied at Newcastle. I hope he stays there.

CL this week. I was at the Chelsea Juve game two weeks ago (Uncle has a season ticket but couldn't go, I don't just secretly support Chelsea, god forbid ) and what a game that was. A joy to see Juve play, feel quite privilaged about that. I'll be honest the games this week don't look so good. Porbably just watch Barca-Benfica and then stick the EL come thursday. LFC - Udinese. Should be a good one.

I could agree to the bet and neither of us would have to give each other the money...

 

 

I'm not denying that Suarez will score more than RVP, I think Suarez will score 20+ goals this season. I'd say around 20 ish for RVP, being generous, but don't forget Suarez is Liverpool's only proper striker so he will score more, depending on if he gets the right service or not.

 

 

Looking forward to Champions League this week. Hoping for a good win from Untied tomorrow.

berbatov as he is off to a flyer in Fulham, will be their key player, Fulham are a good team, he is a very good player i think he will score more than half their goals in the prem.

or defoe - main striker in a spurs team with an awesome midfield, if he stays fit I think he can do it, he can be quite deadly, we forget this a lot that defore is actually a damn good striker (at times)

Or Nicky jelavic, I jsut have a feeling it will not be someone from the title challengers, or arsenal

LFC - Udinese. Should be a good one.

Udinese have been my favourite team for many years. I was never really into football before I left school but started watching Serie A on Channel 5 when I was about 16. They showed Udinese games constantly and I fell in love with their style of football. I hardly ever have the chance to watch them play anymore and whenever I do I see more and more of my favourite players have been sold . Inler, Quagmire, D'Agostino, Sanchez, the list goes on and on...

 

My Gran loves Liverpool and I'm also a fan so it's going to be interesting seeing them go against each other. Both teams are struggling in their respective leagues but I think they'll play strong sides. That is, if you can say Udinese have a strong side . If Di Natale is fit they might hold Liverpool for a draw but I cant see them getting much from Anfield. Especially if Liverpool have renewed confidence after dominating Norwich.

Suarez isn't clinical enough to get 20 a season, he needs a few shots on goal until he slots and i can't see him getting the service, Great player but finishing isn't his strongpoint.

I always thought he is slightly overrated, never really liked his play style that much, but man i got to admit, he knows how to score, and that's what matters most in football.

Cuneyt Cakir is becoming a favorite of mine. I know he refereed last year's CL and this Euro, in addition to the turkish league. He's a rising star, and for good measure. He's nearly spotless. He just sent Busquets off in the Benfica - Barça game. For the usual sh*t Busquets pulls off. Not many referees can spot that while the game is running.
