John Bond, the ex-Man City manager and father of Harry Redknapp's No.2 at Spurs last year, Kevin Bond, has died aged 79. He took City to the '81 cup final, which I remember all to well because my sister took me to the replay. He was also the focus of one of the first fly-on-the-wall reality documentaries, which was simply called "City" - a ground-breaking show way back in 1980.

I'm sure it will be double City's attendance last night. Something like 26,000 at the Dump last night. There was nearly the same amount of fans at West Ham's ground last night.

ha the irony is, they have more at Ibrox than the total attendence of the SPL (when celtic are playing away).

So more people are in a stadium watching the bottom league of scotland, than there are in all 6 games of the SPL on that same day or gameweek, TOTAL, and I remember one gameweek where that was the case when you include every other league, 1st and second division games and the other third division games. so in that instance more people were at the rangers game than every other league game in scotland combined, for a scottish 3rd division match - now that is the makings of a future pub quiz question, the ingredients are there just needs a well worded question.

Lol We're losing already to WBA, but good to see so much youth, made me happy seeing Suso and Stirling playing so well against United, despite the result, we've got a lot to look forward to under Rodgers, give him the time and investment, we will be on the right path soon.
