I reckon 4th for Arsenal, there just isn't the depth in the team for resting players and contingencies in place for any injuries. The grind will start producing silly f*ck ups at some point. Still, not many people go to the Etihad and put in a performance like that.

 

Still, would be nice to do over Chelsea if we can next weekend. Will make it even more interesting in the short term anyway.

it also depends on what happens in the CL, say if Arsenal came out early and could concentrate on the league...Even Utd, City and Chelsea will struggle with the prem when they start the later stages of the CL, can sometimes be a bad thing for a club. Not to say Arsenal wont do well in that but just saying their league position would be better if they were not in the CL.

Completely agree. Sure if your bench is full of stars try for both but if not either pile the resources into one or two cups or forget it and attack the league. Hell with our trophy drought I'd settle with the COC and 4th or better.

Of course they would. LFC fans still make chants about the Munich Air Disaster and they get p*ssed when a few United fans chant during YNWA? F*ck off. I probably come across as being heartless and arrogant, but it annoys me when you hear of a LFC fan making fun of what happened in 1958 with the Munich Air Disaster, then they are all crying about it and kicking off because they heard chants from United fans today. LFC also made plane gestures today before the United chants, so they can f*ck right off.

 

Anyway, it was good that Evra and Buckteeth shook hands today. Kind of expected really.

reason there is no swearing from the fans: hardly anyone knows it exists let alone show up. You heard the saying that only a man and his dog will show up, well this league it is just the dog and maybe the occassional hedgehog, my home town's "stadium" has a capacity of 800 and here is the kicker, it is outside the f*cking town. Everyone from there either supports huddersfield or leeds (more huddersfield these days), or occassionally you will find someone supporting united, arsenal, chelsea as you do. I support United due to family matters

but we do have mick jagger playing for us so... maybe not the case for long
