There will only be one team in FIFA 11, Manchester City, since they're pretty much just going to buy every single player from every single team on the planet, it seems.

All the 'signs' seem to point to him signing for Man Utd if this is somehow all true. A player like him would want a lot of game time at a club and I just don't see City offering him that what with their 300 players.

 

If he signs for Utd, I'll be a happy little bunny.

To me the only properly noticeable difference in the Gunners' kit is the little red stripe around the edge of the sleeves. Other than that I don't see how it's sh*te compared to the previous one.

 

As a whole I see no difference.

Lol, City have 37 players at the moment according to the paper so there not quite at 300 but they do need to get that figure down to 25 players. There's spending at then there is just going absoultey crazy, i dont even think Chelsea were this bad when Roman first came in.

Aye, they'll have trouble trying to meet the 25 man limit so I doubt they will go crazy and sign more players unless it's a mega-star like Torres etc.

I suppose the basic principles of infaltion work with league titles as well. If you want to buy a Premier League title, it will cost you a hell of a lot more than it used to. Look at these two guys and how much they spent putting together a winning team before being accused of "buying" the league.

 

Jack Walker - £25million on players like Alan Shearer, Chris Sutton and Henning Berg for Blackburn Rovers in the 90's.

 

Roman Abramovich - £100million+ on players like Robben, Joe Cole and Damien Duff in the 00's.

 

Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan - Got to be well over £200million on players like Carlos Tevez, Joleon Lescott and Shay Given and yet they haven't even sniffed a title yet...

 

Mars Bars were 26p when Blackburn won the Prem, it looks like the football world can't escape the inflation problem either. And more worryingly it looks like sports inflation in general is getting worse, which poses serious problems for lower league teams who want to win things...

I would of thought Ozil would of flown from Bremen right? but Bremen airport doesn't fly to Manchester, the nearest airport is Liverpool, which would of needed a very short drive to get to Manchester.

Hasn't he only been in charge for two seasons now? Abramovich was in charge for at least four seasons before Chelsea won their first PL title, if I recall correctly.

It's that they don't sell the smaller players who are never going to get a game but could at another club. They need to get rid of the excess players.

Well there going to have to sooner or later as there is a 25 man limit, plus eight of those players have to be from here. So City are definetly going to have to do some selling in the next couple of weeks if not days.

It was a brilliant goal, he played the offside trap the exact same way he did when he scored in the WC against France and then executed an excellent first touch chip into the net. He's going to have a good season.

 

Tom Cleverly got a fantastic goal too. I don't think he should be loaned out.

Lol that all star game was doomed from get go. The All Stars were basically a pick up team. I think they had something like a day to prepare before takin on Man U, so there was no chemistry and no flow between the players at all. I am pretty psyched though for Kansas City beating them with a man down. Even Philly put up a good fight.

If you ask me, yes SPL is that dull. In the SPL there are two teams who can win it one is Rangers the other is Celtic the rest can forget it, so to me that is dull. Plus playing in the Championship is at the same level of the SPL IMO.
