Unlucky matches for the dutch players, losing each game at a goal difference. Lucky dutch, the teams they were up against were largely ineffective. Ronaldo sent two to the post and Nani failed to convert in the goalie's area; Denmark snagged a win; Germany are apparently having trouble converting, as well. I love Holland, but they were out of it this year.
Toup
It was a great match by the two teams, respect to the dutch for not being douches! There was actually fair-play.
The Killa
Wow, the Dutch have lost all three. Many people (including me) were tipping them to win the tournament. Group of death indeed.
Hodgey.
I wasnt tipping the Dutch to win the tournament but i did believe they would make it out of the group, so to see them lose all three games and not really play any good football whatsoever is a surprise to me and im guessing alot of people. Seddo
^RAWR!!! The Dutch were absolute crap, the caliber of players that team has in attacking force that just didn't even turn up. Denmark weren't to bad but then had to attack which just plays right into the Germans hands who finished them off with a great counter. Finally Ronaldo turned up in the tourney, two great goals and unlucky to not get 3 or 4.

Other teams were able to quickly get through balls in and be in front of the net., Their goalie (forgot his name) is also pretty bad.

I'd say an unorganized defense is their biggest trouble, for quite a while, actually. I won't comment on any other tactical aspect, since this tournament was high atypical for them. Their young left back Willems was quite dodgy but to win games you need to score and RVP blown about 10 top chances in the first game alone, the likes of Huntelaar was poor and every time he tried to hold the ball up he lost it, Robben, VDV and Sneijder were pretty much useless. Perhaps they needed an extra DMF in place of either VDV/Sneijder to tighten things up. Stekelenburg wasn't to bad, made a few decent saves. Beat City, Arsenal and United and then lose to West Brom and Sunderland, yeah? i bet we've got a couple of sh*tty Europa League qualifying games squashed between that lot. We always seem to get our home games first against the likes of City, United, Arsenal and Chelsea and we seem to be getting Arsenal a lot in the very early stages of the season. JoeyLeone25
Crap opening game of Derby away for Wednesday, but we get Leeds in October and Bolton on Boxing Day. Those twelve days between the European Championships ending and the Capital One Cup beginning will be bloody torture now. Quadropheniac90
The f*ck happened to our national team. Unmotivated, and after 20 minutes they're tired or whatever? I hope Bert can get our players to do better next time, or maybe we need a coach who can motivate a team full of ego's. Losing every game with these players is a bloody disgrace. GTA_stu
Chelsea are now 3rd alphabetically behind Villa and Arsenal, I don't know why but it feels really weird. This is the first time in ages that there hasn't been any B's in the premier league, when there has at times been an abundance of them. And the Southampton game might not be so easy for City, promoted teams are always fired up and they will have no pressure at all. They could have a tough game on their hands. Everyone said that about the City Swansea match at the start of last season. 4-0 City Glad to see united getting a tough run-in for a change, ought to help City in the long run. Champions League draw is on August 30th if I'm not mistaken, will be interesting to see who both teams get.
