If Portugal wins and Denmark wins by two or more goals or either a 1-0 or a 2-1 result, they both go through. However, if Denmark wins but allows Germany to score two or more goals (3-2, 4-3 and so on for Denmark), those two pass.

 

I'm liking our odds. Considering we win against the Dutch, the only way we fail to qualify is if this scenario plays out, with the defeated Germans still banging in two goals. We can also draw with Holland, provided that Denmark does not beat Germany. In fact, we can even lose to the Dutch, if we only lose by nome more than one goal. That would leave all three teams with three points, with Portugal on second place.

Well, Republic of Ireland is bye bye now. Big 4:o win for Spain. Good game, but honestly, Ireland got eliminated with those early goals in Croatia game really. Winner of that game was the only one who could have a chance against Spain and Italy, they lost and that's that.

 

Also, Irish are terribly opening their matches. 2 goals at start of 1st half against Croats, 1 goal at start o 2nd half, against Spain same, 1 goal early in the half.

Old, managers don't rate him, "lower standard of league" and all that. Younger options on the flank, questionable talent in a central position (he may well have thrived in the centre had he stayed at Old Trafford, perhaps mimicking Scholes in becoming a midfield metronome with a wicked range of passing... alas, that never came to be).

Let's think we are in Time Machine and we are watching yesterday's Spain vs Ireland Match because I want to f*cking talk about it:

Torres is f*cking charm. He is the best player in both Spain and Chelsea. With this pace, they will definitely go to finals. But I am worried that either Russia or Germany will beat up till Semi-Finals. I don't want to see face palms on everyone's face just because Spain was careless.

 

EDIT: Today's Russia's match. I pray they don't win.
