Not saying you can't support them it's just that it seems funny that you support both the World Cup/Euro 2008 winners and the Champions League/previous Premier League winners. If you supported say Barcelona and Spain then it would be more understandable (although somewhat annoying) but the fact that the two teams are completely unaffaliated is just ridiculous.

I know there isn't much football wise in India but that doesn't mean you have too choose two of the best teams to justify your interest in football.

@OcyGTA: I got interest in football from 2010 but I wasn't much loyal fan towards the teams. So, I watched I few matches and I got interested in the players. So, if Chelsea won, I am happy. You know that I was a Chelsea fan before their finals so it was a coincidence.

I'm glad they went with someone who's proved himself at Chelsea as opposed to getting someone with good credentials elsewhere. Kinda makes up for my embitterment over the sacking of Ancelotti.

 

I've a feeling next season is going to turn out pretty well for us.

Depends on how the next season goes really. If he manages to win a trophy, he might stay on. I, for one, do not want to see Pep in charge at Chelsea. He's a good manager and all but his style of play is not something that can be integrated with the current set of players that we have. Roman will have to buy an entirely new squad for that.

Yeah, people think hiring Pep will suddenly get your team playing like Barca but you need to have worked on bringing young players in and sorting out the youth set up which could take years. No doubt he'll still be in big demand when he returns though.

 

We've had some great games this tournament, way better than the sh*te the WC brought us and best of all no Vuvuzela's.

Oh god,suffering until the end.I was praying that the game would end already,if they scored it'd be over.Pepe was everywhere,he played so well,my god.Ronaldo didn't play that well though,he had two f*cking chances with only him and the goalkeeper.

 

Varela probably saved Portugal from losing.My god.Now it's just us versus holand.Oh gosh,I'm glad it's only on sunday.This was nerve racking.

I just cant see Holland beating Germany, I think theres a little upset in the Dutch team, a few players not happy etc, then you have Germany who are probably the best disciplined team in the world. They will wait and score, then defend perfectly.

As much as I hate Ronaldo, he's a great player and I'm surprised that Portugal don't play him in some sort of free role behind the single striker, because he seems to be really limited defensively and because he's always out on the left, defenses sent up prepared, if he had more freedom to move around in the space between midfield and attack, might make a lot of difference.

 

Great game, and I was happy for Varela, he should of equalised against Germany, but he scored that brilliantly to win the game, and it was clear the players and fans were overwhelmed with joy at it.
