Seddo
So Nemanja finally decided to tell his moaning wife to shut the f*ck up and let him do his job? Mascherano's missus is the same. The men are bringing in some serious money and the wives/girlfriends are sitting on their arses watching Jeremy Kyle and Bargain Hunt before going on their afternoon shopping spree, bloody woman and their demands. You control 99% of men's lives let them have 1% of a decision and let them play for the club they want .
Mainland Marauder
Considering I live close to the stadium where it will be played, wish I could see the MLS All Stars vs. United on Wednesday. Have to work that night though "You tell me exactly what you want, and I'll explain to you very carefully why it cannot be."

Have to work that night though I'm going to see United in August for the opening of the new Aviva stadium. There playing a squad of League of Ireland's best i think. What do you think of United's new kit? I like it. Just back from a pre-season match of Bohemian FC vs Aston Villa FC. We won 2-1; great goal from Enzo. nerner
Good to see that Spanish players of the future will keep up the high quality. Of diving that is. Quality pen though.
Ari Gold
I choked on my nutella-laced pancakes this morning when I saw that; I thought I was seeing things, but Eurosport news didn't show the replay so I was left confused. Impressive feat though, I'm gonna try that next time I'm awarded a pen in real life. Also: Manchester City sign Serbia defender Aleksandar Kolarov from Lazio From correspondents in Manchester, England July 25, 2010 Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has continued his pre-season spending spree by signing Serbia defender Aleksandar Kolarov from Lazio. Mancini had been keen on Kolarov for several months and completed a deal for the highly-rated left-back after Lazio accepted an offer of around $A32.8 million. Kolarov, 24, had already been granted a work permit and put pen to paper on a five-year contract after passing a medical. "I'm very excited to be at a great club like Manchester City. Even the training ground is fantastic, better than Lazio's," the Serbian told the club's official website. "I'm coming back early next week to train with the players who aren't touring America. I want to start as soon as I can, and I can't wait to meet all the other guys. "I had the opportunity to join other teams - the names are not important. When I spoke with Mr Mancini, my choice was Manchester City because I know they are a good team. I think maybe a great team. "The (Barclays) Premier League is the best in the world and he wants us to go further and win the Premier title and the Champions League. For a young player like me, this is the best opportunity." City's Abu Dhabi-based owners have now backed Mancini with nearly $A155 million since the end of last season as they seek to establish the club as one of Europe's superpowers. Mancini had already spent $A43 million each on Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure and Valencia winger David Silva, as well as landing German defender Jerome Boateng from Hamburg for $A26 million. The City boss is convinced Kolarov's arrival will be a major boost as he tries mount a challenge for the Barclays Premier League title. "He has the ability to play in numerous positions and is very good in midfield," said Mancini. "This is an additional benefit to the team. He has a fantastic international career ahead of him. I first saw Kolarov in his Lazio debut back in 2007. I was impressed by the speed and strength of someone so young. "I have watched him a lot since then and so have the Manchester City scouts. His attacking capability is very good. He is fast and can shoot with power and accuracy. "He was composed on the ball, had an excellent delivery with his left foot and was technically very able." Mancini also rejected reports that Kolarov's arrival meant the end for England defender Wayne Bridge at Eastlands. Liverpool have been linked with a move for Bridge, but Mancini insists he wants to keep the former Chelsea left-back at City. "I want two top-class players for each position," he added. Linky From a Serbian point-of-view, it's a fantastic signing, and the chance to play for such a strong team will be great for his form, which he'll (hopefully) convert into the national team for the Euro qualifiers. From a Man United point-of-view, it's heartbreaking 'cause he's like the left-back version of Vidić and will be formidable in their back-line. Lethal Nizzle
Turns out Guti has left Madrid after 15 years, and looks to sign for Besiktas on a free transfer. He's always been a stalwart for Madrid, and at 33, he's done everything he can with them in my eyes, but its mad how long he's been with them. I honestly thought he would never leave Real Madrid and stay there for his entire career, like Raul and Casillas have done so far.
Seddo
Raul looks set to join Schalke, these past managers have all seemed scared to get rid of the pair because of their Madrid history and Raul was pretty much untouchable. Mourniho comes in and gives it to them straight, Madrid needed a manager like Mourniho who wont take no sh*t and give them a good shake up. SIKKS66
Kansas City Wizards 2 - 1 Manchester United Did I mention Kansas were down to 10 men for the entire second half? I won't jump on the doom bandwagon that you'll hear from certain fans but that was a poor show. The World Cup bunch need to get back sooner rather than later. I dont know what United's starting eleven was but i wouldnt be to bothered by it. Lets face it one loss to Kansas in July will not worry Fergie at all. By the season starts (as much as i hate to say this) United are always looking good as they did the previous season if not better.
SIKKS66
Yeah I know ya should take everything preseason with a pinch of salt but it's just frustrating to watch. The penalty Berbatov scored was pretty cool though, the guy is looking mean. Can't wait to see him linked up with Hernandez.
Runey
New York Red Bulls 2- 1 Manchester City too Don't be worried if you're a fan of Manchester United. MLS teams are in mid season form right now, and you guys are in preseason.
Lethal Nizzle
Caught the highlights versus Sporting Lisbon, defence looked edgy but going forward we looked good. Also, John Obika is in pretty good form in pre-season. Scored against Lisbon and against Bournemouth a few weeks back. Might feature in cameo roles next season. Raul will confirm his move to Schalke tomorrow I guess. His wife has been seen in Düsseldorf yesterday (looking for an appartement?). Although I hate Schalke, it would be great to have him here in GER.

But do they really have the desire? It's that same reason as why I don't watch our pre-season games, just because we get beaten all the time by lower-league opposition as we are going through the motions. There is no doubt that Man Utd are far better, but why would they need to try? They don't have anything to prove and they don't want to get injured.
