Well yeah. Del Bosque used Iniesta, David Silva and Fabregas as some kind of attackers. Though I gotta say that since Torres got in, the scoring chances for Spain increased. He had himself about 3 chances, though he couldn't make something out of them.

Ireland v Croatia was probably the best match so far, even though it's the not the result I wanted. But it was only really sloppy goals that cost the match other than that Ireland held their own.

Spain Italy was pretty good in my opinion, with both teams showing lots of potential. The coin toss with Casillas and Buffon was just too classy, with them being living legends and all.

well....that was a disappointing night, although i can't say i wasn't expecting it. Its a pity we are the worst team so far in the Euros, some bad decisions by Trap tonight, and a few moments that didn't go our way, were just not up to the quality of the other teams i'm afraid. But its always good to be in a major tournament i suppose.

France arnt all that. If we lose tonight it will be down to stupid mistakes. Our defense is solid, our midfield isnt too bad. If Welbeck can annoy the living sh*t out of the French which he should do then we will score, for me, Welbeck is key for England, if Young plays as well with someone like Wallcott or the OX who will just run we should be able to attack. If he plays someone sh*t and slow like Downing, we are screwed. Really need to attack the wings and get a quality supply in.

I would like a win, but will settle for a draw, I really dont see us losing*

Got to agree that France aren't that great of a team. Of course nor are England, but the French defence is relatively weak and the likes of Ashley Young and Danny Welbeck should be able to cause them some real problems. Carroll can offer more of a physical threat up front too, should that be needed.

 

When I was asked the other day what I thought the result would be I went with a draw so I'll stick with that now, but a win is well within the realms of possibility. I just hope we stay organized throughout the team and Downing doesn't get on the pitch.

Yeah, probably. I remember similar shots at the last couple of World Cups. I'm sure there are football-loving lesbians who are just as happy with the totty shots as your average bloke, mind. And you'd not get a director asking his cameramen to get shots of find sexy men in the crowd, which isn't really anything to do with stereotypes.
