Until pens put to paper and the obligatory holding a shirt/scarf photo has been done, I'm open to anything... but if I had a choice between Hazard and Roberto Van Percyville, then I'd go for Bobby V P, as he's proven Premier League class.

he did not necesarilly say he was signing for THIS YEAR'S Champions league winner. Just saying, although I know he is going to chelsea, just leaving the floor open for the more optimistic united fans

He said "I'm signing for the champion's league winner", but he meant This years CL winner...

I wouldn't even want him at United. I've said that all along. I'd rather have Kagawa anyday.

i agree that he is joining chelsea but I would laugh if he means united as that would just be the number 1 in screwing the media and he likes to play games... but he is chelsea bound kagawa will be no 7

Disappointed, like Hazard, but this is being compromised by my joy that he didn't go to those bitter reds biggrin.gif Chelsea getting Hazard and Hulk.....think it'll be between us and them next season.

Oh yeah just forget about Manchester United then... yawn.gif

It was between United and City then Chelsea sign one player and now it's between Chelsea and City biggrin.gif.

Pest.

@4 Bagger: It's just that City already are stronger (Won it and did double over utd), and I have a feeling Chelsea will be very strong next season, Not just because of Hazard though.

@Gareth: VP would be nice but that'd mean someone else would probably have to go right? Who would you get rid of?

Chelsea managers have never really had much input in transfers, certainly not recently. Our managers are really just coaches who work with the players and have little say in the financial aspects. Pretty f*cked up way of doing things, Roman likes runnings his club the way he wants.

And is this Hazard deal really that close? I'm not seeing anything about it on BBC, and that includes the gossip section.

and BBC knew about 9/11 before it happened - sorta. lot of crap about that on youtube somewhere. Would be funny if we were all following the WRONG eden hazard. like ppl post sh*t from the fake R* pages from twitter on the GTA V section. It would just make me laugh all night

Yeah, not heard anything of an actual deal yet, although maybe we'll hear more tomorrow. His tweet suggests only one team.

It's a toughy, I still have this little niggle that Dzeko could end up like a Goater and be ton plus goal machine for the club, but then again, he'll probably end up like a Bradbury and cost us more than we get back for him. Tevez could end up going to AC Milan, to be honest he's a good player but I just don't think his heads in the right place, I don't mean he's a 'mentalist' his heads not there, something bugs him and only an headshrinker could sort it.

It's between them, but I could see Tevez going more than likely, as he's like Eyal Berkovic, in that he doesn't like to be at a club more that two seasons, three at a push.

Baileys Telly and AguerRRr-o are keepers as Adebayor and Santa Claus should be out the door to Tottingham and probably QPR (the Hughes connection) respectively.

Although a reliable source I know verbally, gave me a little hint that kinda made throw up a little, a rival to Tom Daley in the Diving stakes could return to Manchester but for the blue half... I'll leave you to work that one out. barf8bd.gif

EDIT: Skysports are reporting the Hazard thing, although it's just a re-post of Twatter.

Cristiano? Wow...wouldn't know what to make of that if that deal happened.

I like Dzeko, really good guy and pops up with some important goals. Tevez has said he's staying, so did Kun and Balo. My bet's on Carlos, still love the little man.

I also hear we're looking at Lazio's Radu. 'bout time we got a good solid defensive back-up who can actually start.....Savic = barf8bd.gif

Right, so Hazard left a team that qualified for the Champions League by being decent in their domestic league...for a team that by sheer bus parking scraped into the Champions League by unconventional means and had a shocker of a season?

I haven't seen anything announced on the Chelsea website; although saying that, I haven't checked since late last night.

Only seen it on Twiiter on Skysports at the moment though.....

Yup.

Having said that, his tweet still seems a bit ambiguous to me for some reason. Of course the "Champion's League Winner" means only one team but why would he not just say Chelsea?

Knowing that troll, I'm still half expecting his next tweet to be "...of 1999 and 2008!"

He'll stun the football world and join the 2005 winners.

Didn't he also say he's going to Manchester a couple of days ago? Someone needs a geography lesson.

This pretty much sums up his transfer.

From a United fan's perspective, I'm not too bothered about missing out. His attitude and media whoring irks me, and I could see him pulling a Ronaldo in a few years time and start bitching for a move to Spain. He may have the skills but we have no idea how his attitude would go down at Old Trafford under Ferguson.

Bring on Kagawa biggrin.gifwith apologies to Der_Don.

So Sol Campbell is telling England fans to stay at home. I agree with him after watching the Sky Sports special report on hooligans in Ukraine; it seems really bad. They are all Nazi's so they will target dark skinned fans and there is a lot of racist abuse to the players.

Why the f*ck did they pick Ukraine to be a co-host of the Euros? confused.gif

Because the morons at UEFA and FIFA see themselves as some form of 'humanitarian crusaders' whereby they imagine football will solve everyone's problems. No, you geriatric f*cktards, let the countries sort themselves out and then give them football. Or in the case of Qatar, ignore huge African and Asian football playing nations, and instead give it to the Sheikh with the biggest bank balance.

I think putting "I'm signing for the champions league winner" isn't him trying to be a cocky code talking c*nt, but rather he can't officially say it due to legal reasons and what not. So he's told us without doing it in a way that could get him in trouble. Then again it could just be him being a cocky code talking c*nt. If he has joined us then I'll be happy because he seems like a quality player who has a lot of potential. I just hope he doesn't cause problems in the dressing room because he seems to have a massive ego. Then again with Drogba leaving there is a hell of a lot of room to spare in that respect.

I was thinking that about City too, Mancini has just got all the egos settled this season (Mario, Tevez), last thing anyone needs is that.

what he's said is basically he needs AW to show desire and ambition to compete with the top clubs in the transfer market , seeing as we show as much ambition as Everton, yeah I reckon so. He won't be signing a contract at least. sad.gif

Hey Don!

Portugal has won 48% of the games we've played against Germany, Holland and Denmark, the rest being evenly distributed between draws and losses. Germany, on the other hand, only features a 35% "success rate".

You can prove anything with statistics nowadays! lol.gif

The day before Robinho joined City he said he was enjoying the challenge of playing for Chelsea... footballers aren't the brightest when it comes to geography.

Besides we know how it turned out with Robinho, Hazard will end up the same way.

Also someone pointed out on the Guardian website that this signing would probably have been done by Abramovic as the manger situation isn't sorted yet, and his previous signings, Schevchenko and Torres.... nuff said.

Oh boy I can't wait! This group is a nightmare, anything can happen. If we lose against Portugal on June 9th, we're out of the tournament. If we win, we're through.

And I have this feeling that Denmark, the underdog in this group, will surprise us all.

I think you'll take all three points from us, and that will spurt much needed confidence on the team. As you said, he who loses that first game might end up knocked out, so we'll have to play our socks off to grab the other six points. We always seem to pull through against Holland. Like you, I'm worried about Denmark. Our recent history is terrible, and Paulo Bento is not cultured enough tactically to work out a winning strategy against them on the chalkboard. It'll be intense.
