Cech guessed the correct side every penalty and was unlucky to ot stop 2 of them. I'm not a fan of Chelsea but i'm happy they won it mostly for RDM who has inspired the team.

But not really. The ones that beat Neuer were extremely well taken! And there's no way in hell that was better than Istanbul

 

Tomorrow's finale to Ligue 1 is going to be quite exciting, too. Both PSG and Montpellier are playing away, and a draw will suffice to see the latter take the title. Will be quite hilarious to see Montpellier in the Champions League next year.

It's like Gary Neville said "It's written in the stars" and Ruud Gullit had a pretty good way of putting it too "The blue angel is sitting on the cross bar". The way we won it is so incredible. After being down 3-1 to Napoli then to come back and win it at Stamford bridge, then 2-0 down to Barca at the Nou Camp getting a man sent off to come back to 2-2 with Torres of all people sending us into the final and with Messi's penalty miss. Then playing Bayern in their home stadium with lots of key players missing, going 1-0 down and looking out of it. Drogba's emphatic equaliser, then he fouls Ribery to give the pen away and Cech saves it. Then going down to a shoot-out against a German side, again in their own stadium. And of course Drogba scores the winner.

 

Absolutely epic way to win it. I've never screamed so much in my life, it was just sheer elation and euphoria. And it's not just this season's amazing run in, but all the history before it. Losing to Monaco in the semi's, then the next season to Liverpool to that ghost goal. '07 Going out on pens to liverpool in the semi's, and of course that miss by John Terry in '08. Then the outrage of '09 against Barca. It was such a long time coming and so much emotion involved. Plus it was the last real chance for the likes of Terry, Drogba and Lamps and we wouldn't of had Champions League football next year had we not won.

 

All of that just made it that little bit sweeter and that extra special, and to have it all come down to one kick by Drogba. I doubt I'll ever have another moment quite like that as a Chelsea supporter. Bayern were very unlucky though, they played better than us for the 120.

Guardiola wouldn't go to a club like that. Andre Villas Boas took a major hit in his career which was looking very very promising by giving Chelsea a chance. Guardiola isn't stupid enough to do so.

Watched it in the pub, was a great game and I was thoroughly overjoyed when Chelsea won (surprisingly to myself). Stunned Munich in what was a pretty dramatic game, under the kosh all day and the last 10 minutes as well as extra time were great, plenty of action and drama. Enjoy the win

There's plenty of speculation around who will be manager, but there really isn't anything concrete. You'd think RDM would get it, I mean the players clearly want him and he's proven himself as a top manager. He really couldn't have done any better. Who else would you even get? I think the only 2 other managers you could see in the frame are Mourinho and Pep, but pep says he wants a break and I just can't see the special one returning. I've heard Capello's name banded around a little bit too, but the fans would hate that and he would cost an absolute bomb to get. At this stage it looks as though RDM is the front runner.

I'd be terribly disappointed in Roman if RDM doesn't get the job full time. Enough with bringing in costly as f*ck managers from outside. RDM is passionate about the club, has won us two trophies already and would probably be not even half as costly as someone like Capello.
