Got no problems with West Ham but Alladyce is a bit of a nob. Would like to see Blackpool return to the Prem as Holloway can be entertaining. We've also loaned them a few players recently and we may get an opportunity to loan them some players again and have them play at a higher level. Would also like to see how Tom Ince gets on at a high level.

 

Plus we've got to have some kind of payback for those two defeats 2 seasons back .

 

Would have West Ham as favourites though but these play-offs always throw something out that's not to be expected.

Phillips and Dobbie both had great chances to score and fluffed the lines, Blackpool get sucker punched late on.

 

Replacing Bolton, Blackburn and Wolves with Reading, Southampton and West Ham is not good for our away day travels.

Well I think Hearts won, it was a tight game only 4 goals separated them, could have quite easily have swung either way.

 

Congrats to West Ham, even though I would have preferred Blackpool. But yeah as Seddo said away trips are gong to be nasty, Reading's not too bad, but West Ham is an arse of a place to get to and don't even get me started on Southampton.

Well take solace in the likelihood that they'll probably go straight back down the Championship.

 

As for tonight, I actually feel like Chelsea may bring something special and cause an upset. Just let there be goals!

Someone was just telling me that the winner of the CL stand to earn 100m out of the competition and the runner up 60m! I didnt know it was that much. Thats why every club challenges I guess.

@ Waddy - the earnings go off performance in every match and TV revenue, which dwarfs the actual prize money.

 

Last year Man U (€53.197m) earned more than Barca (€51.025m). The prize money for the final was €9m for the winner and €5.6m for the runner up.

I'm kinda torn on this one for a couple of reasons, I don't like Chelsea so I'd like Bayern Munich to win for that reason, but I'd like Chelsea to win for the sake of English football, but I'd like Bayern Munich to win as they beat us the group stages so saying that the Champions League winners beat you that season makes you feel a little better that you were beaten by this seasons eventual winners.

 

I don't know who to root for, so I'll just see how it goes.

No problem for the club but not a nice game to watch. Chelsea have actually been a bit adventurous this half.

 

Munich are missing way to many chances that they would normally convert. Just reminds me of Benfica, Napoli and Barca games. You just sort of feel Chelsea's name has been on the cup for the past few months now. This final also seems to be going the way of the 99 final.
