as for wenger, I can't fathom why keeping him will give us any benefits. chelsea sacked ancelotti despite winning the double and finishing second. our board are mugging off the whole club by standing by him as if he can do no wrong

But its the same old question...Who would you want to replace him? You would need a top manager with CL experience and who is available and better than Wenger.

I think if Wenger went then Rafa Benitez would be the only option...or Mark Hughes.

Are you seriously asking where are we going to find a manager in the world with 50m at his disposal to use to add to a squad containing RVP, Arteta, Gervinho, Vermaelen, Wilshere and Chesney that can surpass our current achievements ? Since the beginning of 2010 we f*cked up a 2-0 lead at wigan, a 2-0 lead v t'ham, a 4-0 lead v newcastle while losing a domestic cup against a side that have been relegated AND get tonked by M utd 8-2. Is there anyone out there that isn't a stubborn , myopic wanker who insults his own fans week in week out, lies about injuries , embarasses our club with lame excuses and spends 5 years mentioning potential?

 

There isn't a manager in the PL right now who could get away with that. As much as I'm grateful for his efforts from 96-05 he isn't the same manager as before . We're going downhill and we shouldn't just be too sh*t scared to actually take some f*cking action. He has dug his own grave and then told us he doesn't want to buried .

Come on, who is better than Wenger right now and is available? Someone who has managed teams who have gotten to the CL final and have always finished top 4 in the prem?

I think you're clearly overestimating Arsenal here. I don't see why any of those managers you mentioned would like to coach Arsenal. You should be happy to have Arsene Wenger. He's a great coach. Blame the players instead. They're the ones, who fail every weekend.

I think you're clearly overestimating Arsenal here. I don't see why any of those managers you mentioned would like to coach Arsenal. You should be happy to have Arsene Wenger. He's a great coach. Blame the players instead. They're the ones, who fail every weekend.

that is absurd. who signed these players ? koscielny is league one standard if that. players like almunia, diaby, jenkinson, walcott, santos, chamahk etc should be nowhere near arsenal . wenger has made a profit in the transfer window every year since 2006, we have millions in the bank and he wastes it on mediocrity .

why do these players fail every weekend ? poor coaching from arsene bean. we haven't installed keown or bouldy as defensive coach and its pretty obvious we don't practice set peices in training .

Why wouldn't any of these managers want to come here? we have great training facilitates , a huge fanbase, our home support is made up of tourists and other pricks that would fill the seats left by proper supporters if we drop low as 19th, a board that would show limitless bounds of patience and a transfer fund that could totally rejuvenate our average squad.

It is Wenger's fault. He has brought in the wrong players other the last few years I mean whatever happened to Arsenal? Remember like 8 years ago Arsenal had a lot of strong players who bossed the defence and midfield (yes they were cheating c*nts but that seemed to work ) Nowadays Arsenal's team is filled with talentless twats. Arsenal was once a team everyone feared now they are the laughing stock of the Premiership.

Thoroughly disappointing. The scoreline doesn't do justice to our performance for most of the match but we only have ourselves to blame. I don't feel like commending Torres for his performance (even though it was the best I've seen from him in a long time) because the chances that he missed is not something that is expected of a world class striker, especially in a match of this magnitude. This has been our problem since the start of the season; too many shots on target but hardly any conversions.

Actually, I didn't think United played all that well today. They were very careless with the ball in the midfield and in their own half of the field, especially in the 1st half. Both defences were pretty poor, Chelsea's defence failed to mark their man and close down space, while United's back line was getting sliced up by Chelsea's runs into the box. Chelsea's finishing was terrible, while United put away the chances they had.

 

At 3-0 to United at the half, I actually thought Chelsea were the better team.

 

De Gea had a strong performance, and so did Nani and Young. And lol at Rooney pulling a John Terry, though I would rather he do that in this match than in Moscow.

 

Still can't believe Torres scored a goal, and looked like he was getting his confidence back, and then f*cked it up with that incredible miss...

I'm not a Chelsea supporter, far from it, but I thought Torres looked sharp and played some good stuff yesterday. I dont doubt him in the slightest and certainly hope he returns to his old form. He's one of the most entertaining forwards i've ever seen. His first two seasons in the premier league were just sensational. Even if he never does get back to his best, he'll always be a legend in my eyes .
