watch out city, you haven't come up against Spearing yet

nervous.gif Not Spearing?!?!?!?!

sarcasm.gif

looking like City and United for top 2 then, yeah? If I can remember correctly one of the Manchester Derbies this season is a game or two from the end...could be a big decider. Unless of course its at OT, and the ref awards 5 pens + 4 years injury time. tounge.gif

Actually it is unlimited till Utd scores, you know, like those football cartoons, the main team scores, the ref blows the whistle immediately. It doesn't differ if it is 3 or 300 minutes.

How do you spell "domination"? L-I-V-E-R-P-O-O-L.

oof!

It was just a piss take of this post ^. Thought it was quite funny myself

I'm delighted you found it humorous, because that is what was intended to be in the first place. Can you define "sarcasm" and "tongue-in-cheek"? If you can, those are the elements that went into my post. See? Now quit obsessing over it, it's actually pretty embarrassing on your part.

I went fishing but I ended up with such a big fish I want to throw it back in.

We twatted Stoke this afternoon, i say this every week but wank finishing and sh*te refs lost us the game. Still Stoke defended amazingly and really frustrated us.

Looking at the match stats only you'd be gobsmacked at how Stoke came away with 3 points.

So far Rooney, Aguero and Dzeko have scored twenty goals between themselves this season. That's five more than the next seven players on the leading Premiership scorers list. I think this may be a very long season for Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal as City and United don't show any signs of slowing up!

Just like Chelsea look set to blow the league a part last year. Both teams are playing fantastic but you can't judge a seasons progress after 4 games.

Don't think so 'Noxa.

Yeah but I can hardly see the Glazers going out and spending £50million on a player United don't need in January. Then forcing Fergie to play the useless, moody bastard and breaking up the chemistry of the team.

You not going to post a link or do I gotta search it myself? Sheesh!

edit: only pic I can find of it. Looks more like a training kit than an actual jersey.

Thought I'd share this story for today's Daily Mirror:

Until recently, Stoke City’s dressing room wall featured a poster with the headline ‘On 29th June 2010 Two Planes Landed In England’, complete with contrasting photos of England’s failed World Cup squad returning to Heathrow and the coffins of British soldiers from the Afghanistan conflict being repatriated. The laminated picture was positioned so it was the last thing players saw before they ran out for a match.

The accompanying text said that the first plane had contained “23 immature underachievers who complained about being tired and missing their families after two weeks in a luxury hotel”, while the other “carried the coffins of seven fallen soldiers who had spent months away from their loved ones, living in tents in a war zone. They couldn’t complain. Those soldiers earned £15k - £30k a year, not a day."

Alas the picture, said to be a favourite of Tony Pulis, was lost in a summer refurb. But it would have made interesting reading for new arrivals Peter Crouch and Matthew Upson, who were both on the first plane.

Lol @ Crouch and Upson, but damn, Pulis seems to have a lot of f*cking class and perspective. Stoke are fast becoming one of my favourite Premier League teams.

True, but Chelsea's form dipped well before that. That £70 million splash was to try and quick fix the problem which ended up failing anyway.

F*cking spot on that.

Then you have the likes of Ronaldo coming out saying he's like a slave and with Tevez crying every 10 minutes.

Ha, terrible pronounciation, I know!

I don't know if there's going to be a get together to be honest. Haven't read/heard anything about it.

Let's hope that there's not going to be a violent "get together" after the game (nah, that won't happen).

Do you know how many Arsenal-Fans are coming over?

Wow, Milan managed to get a draw against Barcelona. Congratulations I say. If only because seeing Barca win everything is starting to get boring. Strange game too, Milan had a very early and a very late goal, awesome. biggrin.gif

Awesome? Ridicolous! 18 % ball possession, what a terrible, really terrible team. Very effective though.

So glad Barca didn't win last night. Same way kind of sad that Dortmund didn't win. The choreo with the crown really looked impressive. Valencia also stumbled 0:0, and that was a bit of a surprise. Lets see how others do tonight.

edit: Yeah nice

My top 7 of the season will be-

1.Man City

2.Tottenham

3.Chelsea

4.Manchester United

5.Liverpool

6.West Brom

7.Arsenal

I wonder who you support......

decent performance last night, felt we were worthy of 3 points but in all fairness you can't defend goals like that. Benayoun was man of the match for me, Walcott however was poor

I'm guessing 2 teams. West Brom and Spurs.

Or he's just on a sh*tload of drugs...

Cannot wait for Napoli v Man City.

Past European winners, first time in the comp in its current format.

Stars on either side. Lavezzi, Cavani + Hamsik v Aguero, Nasri + Silva.

Zagreb are doing rather well to contain Madrid at the moment, and have had a few attempts of their own. But Zagreb's goalkeeper has kept them in the match with two superb point blank saves earlier.

I'm quite happy with a draw and it was a hard game. Just what I expected (thought Lindegaard played well icon14.gif)

Wow Inter are sh*t.

The song "sacked in the morning" comes to mind.

1-1 is a decent result in what was the trickiest tie of the group stages. Was a bit odd watching the game in the 5-a-side center I was in. A f*ck load of people cheering the Benfica goal (that was pretty amazing, by the way) and just poor old me on my own cheering Giggsy's equaliser (equally awesome).

I now remember why Sir Alex didn't talk to the BBC, it wasn't because his son was nice and corrupt, but because he's a bit of an arsehole. That poor bird on ITV only asked if Lindegaard had put himself into contention for Saturday and this was Sir Alex's response in quite a condescending manner: "David de Gea will play on Sunday. That was the understanding we had before the game. I don't know why you ask these questions. You are just looking for stupid, little things."

I could understand if she had said: "I heard David De Gea loves cocaine and young, Belgian pre-teen whores, but will you chose the crack-wielding maniac or this lovely Norwegian bloke for Sunday's match against Chelsea Sir Alex?" But she asked a relevant question, and he just looked like a disinterested arse on live television. Aside, from that decent game, a decent result for United considering Benfica isn't an easy place to go too.
