Looking at YTube, I wonder if the Vikes will win a Superbowl before I die, as do other Vikes fans, We'll see, We'll see.

Everyone should win once, eh?

Never ever post in here again.

International tonight, England will probably scrape it 1-0!

The worst thing is, it's not the first time he has posted about American Football in the Footy Desk before. If it happens again, I suppose I'll have to add 'Footy = Soccer' in the sub-heading (no offence to the majority of Americans who can tell the difference between the two sports).

England can be hit and miss when they play away from home in European and World Qualification so I expect a tough test from Bulgaria, but I do expect them to win 1-0. We have a strong, young squad and we should be able to overcome the Bulgarians.

why does that c*nt capello insist on playing walcott on the wing? he obviously can't dribble , I think we've established that now, and after seeing him score 2 goals against Udinese surely its obvious he's a decent finisher. Just switch him and Young around .

Still don't understand what Barry is doing in that team ahead of Lampard either.

We're playing the Czech's tomorrow. Should be a good game. We have to win in order to have a chance to qualify! Might have to treat myself to the pub to watch it smile.gif

ha! I just watched Ukraine put one past Uruguay 15 seconds in... Suarez better not get injured, or I'm gonna headbutt myself.

Its not that ridiculous seeing as Arsenal have yet to get a point. Bolton look like a strong side this season, I think they look better than Everton or Villa. Wolves look really good too.

Arsenal drawn with Newcastle on the opening day so have 1 point. There's no way Bolton are finishing a head of Arsenal.

Hopefully England can follow on from the U21's yesterday.

Arsenal have 1 point and their are alot of matches to go, Bolton have all their main players fit but Arsenal still have alot of players to come back from suspension and injuries. Once Cahill, Davies or another key player gets injured Bolton are screwed.

Same goes for Arsenal though, I think they'll have a pretty tough season like Liverpool last year. I can honestly see the likes of Stoke or Bolton finishing above them, it wouldn't suprise me. Arsenal have just looked hopeless defensively for over a year. They haven't got a leader anymore like they did with Toure and Gallas. Hopefully Mertesacker and Vermaelen can form a good partnership to fill that void. Arteta & Benayoun were great signings in midfield though, Wenger's not completely senile... yet. He needs to tell his players to stop passing unnecessarily in the final third, sometimes they make one pass too many. It's frustrating to see, I still dont think they look that convincing up front with Van Persie constantly injured. He got 4 past San Marino in a european qualifying match though last night so thats good I suppose notify.gif

I really think your underrating Arsenal. We did have a hopeless defence but with Mertersacker, Vermalean, Santos and Sagna at the back we should be great. Mert and Verm being bosses at the back while Santos and Sagna going forward with the ball. We have Wilshere, Ramsey, Gervinho, Walcott, Arteta, Benayoun, Park, Arshavin, Chamberlain, Song, Frimpong and Van Persie. Each bringing their own unique style to the team, they are all skilled individuals and are much better than the likes of Stoke and Bolton. The goalie isn't as inexperienced as he was last year and looks to be fine this year despite the 8-2 defeat which was mostly due to the shocking defenders.

If either Bolton or Stoke finish above Arsenal I will wear a signature saying Arsenal suck for 1 year.

Arsenal are good team but all those new signings you mentioned have either played little to no games with each other yet and who knows if they'll all gel together. Frimpong & Chamberlain haven't been tested at this level yet. Song, Rosicky & Arshavin are looking a bit worse for wear. I think Wilshere, Van Persie, Ramsey, Walcott, Arteta & Benayoun are great players though. Hopefully they'll have good seasons and come through for the Arsenal. I thought Szczesny was looking a bit more confident too until that 8 - 2 bashing confused.gif.

It's possible, but there are currently quite a few contenders for the Fair Play League at the moment. We'll have to see in the upcoming months how Arsenal's disciplinary record holds up. Also, England surprised me last night, a composed performance from the squad which included a few new faces (i.e. Smailing who seemed a little anxious and made a few minor mistakes early on). Most importantly, we are almost guaranteed a position at next year's Euro's!

Haha, 11-0 win from San Marino. The best against the worst (according to FIFA). Holland rocks but I want to see how they do against the likes of England, Brazil, and Spain.

Well they lost 6-1 against manu in the 00/01 season and ended 2nd.

Obviously not the same players and all the teams were different. But I wont rule out Arsenal just because they had a bad start.

I was just kidding. we will fail as always.

Pfff, the Germans always failing, huh? wink.gif

If England keep up their solid qualifying campaign, I'm going to back them to win Euro 2012. I know I know, it's England. But I really believe it's a matter of time before they achieve something again, and they sure have the potential with this current group of players.

We (english) do have a great squad but we dont have the togetherness or team chemistary of the other big european teams at the moment (Germany, Spain, Netherlands). Were too inconsistant. Our only consistancy is being insconsistant notify.gif.

We do have alot of bad luck though, for instance at the last world cup [brace yourselves]...

- Rooney forgot how to kick a ball

- Walcott wasn't included in the squad

- Ferdinand got injured

- The worst refereeing decision of all time was made...

What a f*cking travesty, that would have changed the game. Who knows, we probably would have lost with the way those efficient bastards were playing but we deserved the chance because that ladies and gentleman, was a f*cking goal.

I'm sure we make alot of our own bad luck though. The england players dont really seem passionate but most of them have the personalities of robots anyway. i'm sure there just frustrated with the media and cant be arsed with the pressure because they make so much money. Some of them still show determination though and I still have faith in the future of english football. I just dont have faith in football itself with fools such as Sepp Blater running the show.

Dont even get me started on this...

Yeah, go ahead FIFA, just rig world cups so asian countries play more football and make you more money. Great example your setting, forget the competition aslong as your making money. Its a joke.

England won't win the euro's. We had that great qualifying campaign for the world cup and just crumbled when we got there. Although if it's in Poland and Ukraine maybe the weather might be a bit crap, in which case we should be at optimum temperature, and we'll only fail a little bit. I really hope we get to a penalty shoot out at some point in the competition, and actually win the damn thing because if we do our confidence would just skyrocket.

Thats Scotland out... drew with the Czech's 2 - 2, due to a diving prick on the 90th min getting a penalty and equalising. They really need goal line technology and recorded refereed decisions. We got put out the past couple of qualifiers due to bad decisions aswell confused.gif

It's our ambition to win a tournament. It's not satisfieing to be 2nd or 3rd.

I'm sick of those scenes:

f*cking c*nts!

@SweatyPa1ms: Terrible call, yes. But it wouldn't have changed the game imo.

I'm aware of that. It doesn't just happen to England, but other big footballing nations too, like Argentina.

Agreed on the penalties. Just imagine if England's first knockout game ends in a shootout against another big nation and they win. They would have a lot of momentum toward the final.

From 2 - 0 down to be drawing 2 - 2, it would have changed the game. You guys probably would of still won, but what i'm saying, is that we deserved the chance to change the game, we took it and it was disallowed!? What better way to demoralise a bunch of unconfident players.

C u @ 2012 anyway. REMATCH! devil.gif

Sorry for anyone scottish, last night you deserved to win but were victims of a bad decision, Hope the czech's f*ck up and you qualify.
