SweatyPa1ms
Barton has moved to QPR. I don't know why Manchester City don't just sell Adebayor instead of loaning him, Mancini has made it apparent that he has no future with the club. Barcelona and Manchester United are veterans at diving although I only see Nani diving at United these days, they really do need goal line techonology in football. I don't see how it will slow the game down significally, computers can detect whether a goal pased the line or whether a player has died in a matter of seconds. Do any of you guys reckon Arsene will spend any money? Why doesn't Barton just chill the f*ck out and play the good football he's capable of playing, his temperament has got better in recent years but he still manages to get himself into trouble. I hope Neil Warnock can control him, he settles down at QPR and ends his career on a high even though he's a bit of a scum-bag. ----- They shouldn't just use technology for goal-lines but for offsides, corners and throw-in's aswell. You could probably do it all on the same piece of software. Its ridiculous how it hasn't been introduced already. Its a f*cking travesty actually . ----- I'm still unsure over most of Arsenal's squad... Goalkeepers - Szczesny, Alumunia & Fabianski are all average in my opinion. They should of bought Given when they had the oppurtunity, that or buy one of the big americans or one of Stoke's beastly goalkeepers. Defense - I think they need to get Cahill at all costs, I can see him playing with Vermaelen nicely. I still think they need another centre back aswell who could play as a full back like Onuoha. Midfield/Attack - They are good going forward even without Nasri and Fabregas but I dont think Wilshere and Ramsey have the balls to fill their shoes, they need someone in either attacking midfield or a forward that can change a game. The Arsenal squad just doesn't see to have much depth anymore and they are short of quality players in a number of positions. Testing times for Wenger I feel. Abebayor should go back there . Girish
So, Chelsea vs Norwich was scheduled to be shown over here on Star Sports, if the TV guide is to be believed. I switch on the TV only to find out that they're broadcasting Blackburn vs Everton instead. I'm pretty f*cking sure Venky's must have paid a sh*tload of money to Star Sports to switch games. There must be only a handful of Blackburn supporters in India. Their misguided management must think that this bastard of a move will pull in more supporters or something. Well, f*ck them. Girish
They know what they're doing, Girish. One would think so. I was hinting at the fact that they think they can pull in more supporters if all Blackburn matches are telecasted over here. Or at least, that's the conclusion that I've drawn from this sudden switching of games. My outburst was me being pissed at the probability that I'll never get to watch a Chelsea game if there's a Blackburn match scheduled at the same time. They're not doing so well in the chicken business either, from what I'm hearing. They were quite the rage a few years ago but ever since Godrej stepped into the business they got Venky's pretty much beat.

But yeah, I would assume that India would be a big market for football? And a lot of the 'fans' are glory hunters? Even if they are I really doubt they would start supporting Blackburn because their chicken company is using them in their adverts.
Girish
And a lot of the 'fans' are glory hunters? Yep. Although, I wouldn't blame them for that as long as they don't switch sides at the drop of a hat. Quite a few of my friends and acquaintances are Arsenal and Liverpool fans and they haven't given up. Also, how we cannot win against Norwich at home is beyond me. Somehow, I feel AVB hasn't quite adjusted and is going to take a while to get this right (I hope he does, eventually!). Edit: And just as I posted this, Lampard scores from a pen. Thank f*ck! NOW HOLD ON TO THE LEAD!!!
Banks.
Our performance against Spurs was brilliant and it Welbeck looks really good so does Cleverley, Young etc. Good buy for QPR. Joey Barton is a fantastic player and SWP is great buy too. I think QPR will get better.

Girish
Still think 50m was a bargain for Torres Girish? Also, it was only a mata of time before he started scoring. Hmm, beginning to doubt it. It takes Mata all but 20 mins to score his first goal whereas Torres has 1 in 20 games and we got Mata for half the price of Torres! But after having spent such a huge f*cking amount on him, I'm forced to remain positive. Him flopping like Shevchenko will be a huge f*cking loss and could possibly affect our spending in future transfer windows. Nice pun, BTW. Also, if the rumour mills are to be believed, we're selling Malouda. Now why the f*ck would you keep Kalou and sell Malouda is beyond me.

Mand'alor
Did anyone catch Valencia v Racing Santander? Fantasic match. Valencia trailing 3-1 only to win the game 4-3 in the last minute. Soldado with a hatrick...and an own goal. Also, I have now had two of my Liverpool friends text me 'Top of the table wooo'. Steady on lads. And you seriously can't start predicting the top 4 after christmass and even then things can shift dramatically. Nothing wrong with predicting it. Obviously what matters is how you finish, ultimately. Was it only last season where Chelsea started by thrashing teams 6-0 and still didn't win the league? Still a long ways to go yet Amazing, Sky was saying it took until late October to get the same amount of points that Liverpool have right now. What a difference a year makes. Waddy
Liverpool did look good yesterday, how anyone could moan about Charlie Adam last season not being worth 10million is beyond me. He is a fantastic player and for me the buy of the season along with Aguero at City. He might have scored but Henderson didnt look quality yesterday, yes give him time but its a stupid amount of money to pay for him. Adam on the other hand is a ready made prem player whos crosses have to be among the best we have seen next to Beckham, just sublime.
Seddo
@Seddo: Feel free to post your obligatory "lol Torres" comment. lol. To be honest he looked pretty damn good again in the first game but he's had a bit of a shocker in the past two games. You look so much better when he goes off. Funny how Luiz and Mata have both grabbed debut goals though. We looked great again yesterday with some awesome passes from Hendo and Adam. I love how Suarez was f*cking awesome but looked pissed off as he didn't score in the stands. Pee'd off from conceding a last minute goal. How unlucky is Steve Kean, saying that, didn't think any of those 3 pens were pens.

Blackburn should have scored, simple as. Tets banged it in, there was the difference. Torres will find his form, you have to remember when he was on fire for Liverpool he was playing in a very poor Liverpool team, maybe he isnt as good as we all thought... Good composure and nerves from Arteta to put it away in injury time. Torres was boss in his first two years and then he went sh*tty for the rest of his 18 month spell due to injuries and him being a moaning twat. Compare his goalscoring records at Atletico, Chelsea and Spain against his record at Liverpool. Rafa must have done something right, possibly because he was a lone front man with pace and strength and everything was getting directed towards him. Chelsea and Spain basically play 3 up top and in Madrid he had a partner and now he's lost that yard of pace, the explosive start and he does seem a little weaker... It's an expensive problem to sort out.

Looking forward to getting a view of the future. Edin Dzeko showing his worth. Everybody knows it takes players like Dzeko, who have natural skill and talent, six or so months to settle into a new league and he's finally shown everybody that he's not only settled, but ready to show Carlos 'Crying Sod' Tevez that his place is not set in stone anymore. Also, he's in my Dream Team/s! Utd: De Gea, Smalling, Jones, Evans, Evra, Nani, Cleverley, Anderson, Young, Rooney and Welbeck Arsenal: Szcey, Jenkinson, Djourou, Koscy, Traore, Rosicky, Coqqy, Ramsey, Walcott, Van Persie and Arshoooovhim.
