Canoxa
Falcao was a bit dumb. Had he held on to Porto, he would be in Real or Chelsea next year, if not by Christmas. Atlético will sink this year.

cactus.
Portugal is in the finals for the U20 World Cup, and is yet to allow one goal. All clean sheets. France didn't make the final, nooooooooo! but Brazil - Portugal will be an exciting final!
Waddy
Looks like the start of the La Liga season is off. A bit annoying, I like watching Spanish football on Saturday and Sunday nights. What a terrible situation though? 58million owed to players in the 1st and 2nd division who havent been paid. Some have lost their houses because they cannot keep up the payments. I just hope it gets sorted out.

Der_Don
Have you seen this video (a Getafe-Spot apparently)? Seriously, what the flying f*ck is going on there? Sex, Zombies?? Edited August 19, 2011 by Der_Don
LanceVanceDance07
Umm...quite the interesting Getafe ad there. A bunch of male Getafe supporters walking through a sperm clinic with sperm containers?...no comment. And congrats on your milestone SIKKS
The Killa
Getafe sex zombies and a La Liga strike? There's a joke in there somewhere. Falcao is a very interesting signing especially for that price. At 40m he has a lot to live up to after Rock Me Amadeus. Honestly, I think there are better options at a better price but time will only tell I guess.

Girish
What a f*cking relief! Not convincing, though. Still 3 points is something positive to look forward to. WBA defended really well, especially Reid. The good news for me is that Malouda seems to be getting back to his best. The bad news is that Drogba doesn't seem to be liking playing second fiddle to Torres. Either that, or he's really past his prime. I can't remember the last time I saw him so off. Seddo
Torres. Deserved win for us and gives us our first away win over Arsenal in 11 years or so, even though they were slightly under strength. Still frustrating that we are not putting our first half chances away again. Everton's unbeaten start to the season has come to an end already... Vercetti27
a fluke own goal and an offside goal and king kenny is working his magic . title number 19 is already in the bag, I think everyone else should just give up now tbf.

I'd be gutted as well, getting outplayed in parts of the game doesn't really happen to Arsenal at home and with United up next they will put away their chances. Don't see how the 2nd goal was offside when the ball went to Meireles. You've got some pretty extreme bad luck at the minute but you've only got Wenger to blame for being stubborn and not fixing what everyone in the football world can see. Waddy
Rumours are that Wenger wants Baines and Jags from Everton. Cant see the stubborn french man paying the valuation though, 2 England defenders, 20m each thank you very much.

Similar age, present good resale value 5 years down the line. Still young enough for him to craft them into players in his vision.

LanceVanceDance07
Tonight was a great win against Spurs, considering that they were the ones pressing at times during the match. Jones and Evans were superb. Welbeck had a great match with a goal and an assist. I was also impressed with De Gea, his distribution was very good. The clean sheet can only help his confidence, the boy is slowly becoming a man. So United join City and Wolves (lol) at the top for now. So yeah, I'm gonna have fun with the #sincearsenallastwonatrophy hashtag on Twitter...
Chunk
We completely fell apart around the hour mark. Completely gutless after United scored their first. But, then again, it's only the first game of the season, and it was against the champions away. Hopefully we can get some signings in and dick City on Sunday. Waddy
Master class for Utd tonight. I knew from kick off they looked amazing. Going to be a very interesting season. I watched City last night and they were missing something, even though they played really well, they were just nothing like Utd looked tonight. I watched City last night and they were missing something, even though they played really well, they were just nothing like Utd looked tonight. Manchester United play as a whole unit, Manchester City do not, and most importantly their defence is the main culprit, which showed versus Bolton as they constantly switched off and allowed the likes of Kevin 'King' Davies in with various opportunities. Soon they will find that their 'score one more goals than the opposition tactic' won't work for everybody... T.Rez
I think De Gea will be a very good keeper as long as he can get use to the premier league over the next few weeks. He's looked a little bit shakey but I can't see him doing a Heurelho Gomes. He just needs to be put on a bit of muscle otherwise he's going to get bullied. Not bad for a 20 year old keeper. Should be interesting to see the competition for a place in the starting line up between Welbeck and Chicharito, not to mention United still have Berbatov, Owen and Macheda in their ranks. Edit: Man City have agreed terms with Arsenal for Nasri. Wenger needs to get the transfer ball rolling. Edited August 23, 2011 by T.Rez
cactus.
Tottenham are in desperate need of a quality striker, maybe selling Modric would benefit them Agreed. Their midfield is still pretty good without him. The match against United may not have been the best testament to that, but things take time. Krancjar is a quality midfielder and could fill the void left by Modric.
