The Killa
I'm not really educated on their financial situation but it seems like clubs will still happily spend regardless of their debt, ie United. Although I can't see Barcelona spending that much more money anymore after Fabregas. They already have the best squad in the world for many many years to come so Pep will close the checkbook I'll reckon. How much debt are they in anyway? Dont know what it is now, but more I would imagine. They had to take a 150emergency loan last year to ease the debts. The debt of the Manchester club is actually far greater than all thirty-six clubs in Germany’s top two divisions. That is a frightening fact. JoeyLeone25
Mario Balotelli is just lazy, while Kun Agüero is just genius! What a debut by the little Argentinian, who showed unlike many of the Manchester City players that he is happy to play as a part of a team rather than as a lone individual looking for all the glory. Brilliant second goal by the little man, and I can't wait to see more of him in England in the future! Carlos, who? The Killa
Yes, it's only Swansea, but f*ck. City didn't even look that good until Aguero came on. Marvelous capture. The worst part is they stadium didn't even sell-out, and half of them missed Aguero's belter because they'd left.. Weird fans Would have been 8-0 without Vorm in goal. Incredible saves he made. Mand'alor
What a debut by Kun; two fantastic goals and an excellent assist. He's going to terrorise the league....if Mancini plays him and not f*ckin Gareth Barry.
SIKKS66
Wasn't too bad was he? I'm thinking that attack of Yaya-Silva-Kun will fire them far into the Champions League. A little disappointed with Swansea though. Sinclair looked lively but he was shackled well by Richards. Nathan Dyer was good defensively but didn't offer much going forward. Graham didn't link up play as well as Borini did for Swansea last year but I'll think he'll grow into the role. Against inferior defences I think these three will do better, City were very strong tonight.

Never left a match early myself, but I know some blokes that left Hillsborough ten minutes before the end for years, just so they get home at 5:20pm instead of something insane like 5:35pm... Yes I noticed that but I've never seen so few fans there especially at a home season opener, not to consider the excitement of the new signings. We do the same thing here, but traffic in LA is notoriously bad so it's a difference of getting home a half hour early or 2 hours late if you stay at the match. It may just fire them far into the title race as well, but I wouldn't expect a United fan to admit it But yeah, what a debut by Aguero. Wow. I loved how his very first touch was a swift trap followed by a shot on target that would've been a goal if it weren't for Vorm. He's going to be an exciting player to watch this season. Swansea appeared to be control in large parts of the game, with 57% of total possession. Not bad for a newly promoted team. But all City had to do was pressure their back four to win the ball back, but were just too lazy at times to do so.

And Mancini is still a little too defensive at times. For these reasons, they won't go that far

Waddy
Aguero is an excellent signing, he's going to light up the PL. Won't win them the league though There were some really good signs from City last night. If Silva and Aguero can bond that partnership like they did last night then thats up front taken care of, even without Tevez. If Tevez does another U turn and stays with City, and puts in his all again then there wont be a better forward line in Europe. Also, Lescott was brilliant last night, hate to say it but their defence looked great. I would deffo put a bet on them winning the prem. Aguero was just amazing. Such a big presence on the field, literally. City undoubtedly have what it takes to mount a serios title challenge, but I think their biggest threat, besides United, is their own lack of interest at times. The first half being an example, sometimes City's players just look like they don't care. Hardly surprising, really. I'd prob be the same if I were on £200k/week. edit: if anyone plays fifa11 on ps3 and is down for some online matches, please add me! psnID: elcactus Edited August 16, 2011 by TheCacti

If Wenger doesn't buy some players who can immediately improve their first team (ie not 16 yr olds) it really wouldn't surprise me if they ended up in the Europa League this season or next Edited August 16, 2011 by The Killa

He doesn't look like an Arsenal player, he cant pass very well from what i've seen . Maybe he'll get better but at the moment I think he'd be more at home at Newcastle or Sunderland. Far from the class of Rooney, Suarez, Torres and Aguero. Dont think they'll make top four at this rate. Jack Wilshere & Aaron Ramsey will have to have amazing seasons to have any chance of changing that. Udinese gave them a damn good run for they're money last night and deserved atleast a draw. It might not be so bad for Arsenal to go out at this stage, atleast it wouldn't be too embaressing.

SIKKS66
Lol @ the fracas at the end. I'm sorry but Mourinho is a f*cking child. Can anyone imagine Sir Alex going over and flicking the ear of Brian Kidd during a particularly intense Manchester derby? Frankly, Vilanova didn't push him hard enough. Another reason why the United board shouldn't Mourinho him when it comes to Fergie's replacement.

The last two were good, but all the play acting, off-the-ball antics are beginning to overshadow the actual football. it's getting ridiculous. I'd prefer to watch Stoke on a rainy Monday night.
