Girish
Horrible, horrible start by Chelsea. I'm at a loss for words as to how bad we played throughout the firs half. Poor defending to give away the first goal and then leaving Vidic completely unmarked in the box. Mikel was pathetic in the midfield. There has not been one performance from him that's been praise-worthy. Lampard and Terry were almost invisible and I've no idea what Ivanovic was thinking playing so roughly. I'm quite surprised Webb didn't send him off after that poor tackle on Rooney. Apart from that header by Kalou, which was brilliantly saved by Van Der Sar, we didn't threaten the United defense at all. I don't see a lot changing in the second half. We looked completely down and out; confidence rattled. United have pretty much sealed the game.

Girish
So gutted, so gutted. We finally decided to show up in the second half but it was always going to be a little too much to get past United. Congratulations to them on a well deserved win. I'll now go back to sulking.
Waddy
Chelsea should have gone for it, Id have had Torres, Drogba and malluda(sp) on from the start, they had nothing to lose. Well done Man Utd! Well deserved.

cactus.
malluda(sp) Congratulations to United on winning their 19th title. Man, as if United fans weren't pompous enough already! hah edit: I think Ancelotti did start with what he thought was his strongest team. Kalou has been in good form lately as Torres not so much. If by 'they', you mean Chelsea as a team, then you're probably right. But, in equal probability, Ancelotti had everything to lose. Given that the Torres-Drogba combo hasn't really worked yet, he was not going to take a chance for such a big game.
Vercetti27
What a lovely way to spend a sunday afternoon - in stoke, watching your side loose 3-1 while the home fans sing the praises of ryan f*cking shawcross before being trafficked back into your coach, escorted onto the motorway and having to drive past hundreds of gloating stokies in trenchcoats that have purposefully positioned themselves so they can flick the V's at you and sneer at you . Then you get home, rain starts pouring as you head to the chip shop and its f*cking closed!

Flesh-n-Bone
Not a fan of Man Utd and would have rather had Chelsea won but I still congratulate them on this one, only if they can do the same in Champions League! Please United, you failed a couple of years ago, now try to stop those cheating scumbags that's known as Barcelona from taking another CL title. Please elaborate on "cheating scum." Elaborate? The number of penalties that weren't counted back in the Chelsea match from 2009 says enough. And if unfair (probably paid) referees weren't enough for them then, the sh*t continues now against Madrid. First, Pepe gets a red card even though he barely, if at all, touched Alves for the same offense Mascherano got a yellow only in the same match. And of course the Higuain goal on second match that was disallowed for no proper reason other than Ronaldo accidentally touching Mascherano's foot with his hand causing him to fall. (It's not like Mascherano would have done anything to stop the goal) Not to mention all the fake acting from the Barcelona players. (Hey there Sergio, Pedro and Mascherano) EDIT: If you want videos for proof, then watch these two and searching gets you even further. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eu9DQclLswY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b2Yo3iQQvWs Edited May 8, 2011 by Flesh-n-Bone

cactus.
Cheating? I see no cheating in diving. It's all football, everyone dives. To me it's just a clever way of getting free kicks and making your opponents get cards. I wholeheartedly disagree. By diving and playacting, you are deliberately deceiving the referee, and if that's not "cheating," then I don't know what is. Allow me to say there is a difference between an unwarranted dive à la Sergio Busquets/Dani Alves - simply acting as if you're in pain when in truth you are not - and making a meal of a genuine foul. What I mean by the latter, is that the player is actually fouled, and perhaps could stay on his feet, but instead decides to succumb to the foul and thus benefit from the consequential rules of the game (i.e. free kick/penalty kick). This is something we see more often and even I'd agree that it's clever in certain cases, such as earning a penalty. However, when you're exaggerating a foul by acting in pain or just straight up acting as if you'd been fouled when if fact it never occurred, that's damaging the integrity of the game as well as blatantly deceiving your colleagues, the fans, and most importantly the referee. It's disgraceful, through and through.
Vercetti27
no- diving is cheating - nothing at all clever about it. Its a cowardly thing to do, especially for a team of barca's quality
Tchuck
These are the offences that warrant a red card, according to the laws of the game: -Serious foul play -Violent conduct -Use of abusive language and/or gestures -Spitting at an opponent or any other person -Denying the opposing team a goal or an obvious goalscoring opportunity by deliberately handling the ball (this does not apply to a goalkeeper inside his/her own penalty area) -Denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity to an opponent moving towards the player’s goal by an offence punishable by a free kick or a penalty kick (known as a professional foul or "last hope" foul) -Receiving a second caution (yellow card) in the same match Pepe did not touch Daniel Alves, that is true. As such, it wasn't a foul by that criteria. It was, however, a very f*cking violent conduct! Can't you see that? There was no contact, but there was violent conduct in the way he went for the ball, going solely for Daniel Alves' leg, and according to the rules, he deserved the red card. Or would you rather him breaking Daniel Alves' leg so that the red card was justified? A red card does not depend solely on seriously rough contact, just look above at what can bring about the red card. If the players and supporters knew more about the rule, misunderstandings like this would be more easily avoidable. Madrid's goal was indeed legit, in my opinion, and the ref got it wrong there. He is only human, after all, and humans are bound to make mistakes. But both sides dived, it wasn't Barcelona exclusively.
flitcroft101
Di Maria is probably the biggest diver to ever touch the game. I've seen him literally take 7-8 minutes out of a single game on his own with his bullsh*t.
