Canoxa
Whey they played in CL, Arsenal beat them 6-0 and Shakhtar beat them 0-3. I thought they're a sh*t team, but they reached EL final! But they beat Celtic, Liverpool and Arsenal at their home ground. They'll lose in the final because away from home their record is awful. Both teams are very familiar with each other. The game is bound to be very even. Porto v Braga is often a crazy game. By the way, Domingos Paciência, Braga's coach, was one of our biggest striker's during the 90s - he's loved by Porto fans and Porto is the club of his heart. It will be a crazy game for him too. cactus.
I'm definitely going to be sure and watch the EL final this year. I've been hearing lots of good things about the Portuguese teams making their way through the knockout rounds and playing some pretty, attacking football en route! (not having a TV and a shoddy internet connect, i'm pretty much limited to just hearing/reading things about football. tragic, I know.) And needless to say, can't wait for this weekend's Premier League action. Sunday is going to be off the hook with some fantastic, quintessential fast-paced English football between the top two sides. I'm thinking Chelsea will take a first half-lead and eventually go up 2-1 before United equalize in the dying moments, but not in Fergie time TheCacti is off to edit his predictions

In the end they're just going to get pee'd off and buy every Everton player . I've heard Webb is the ref at Old Trafford on Sunday? Title in the bag for United. mark-2007
My Christ, having to listen to Stan Collymore's commentary in the Newcastle - Birmingham game was one off torture. Decent result like, 2-1, also means Birmingham are still in the mix for relegation, not that I've particularly got anything against them. Stephen Carr's sh*te though. Josh
Stan Collymore isn't as annoying as Robbie Savage on 606. Now he's retired we have to put up with his sh*t even more... Also, I don't think Dom will be very happy today.
Tommy Dickfingers
I was at Reading vs Derby today, it was Savage's last ever professional game. I had free corporate tickets, incl. food and beer, so it's all good. Plus I won £30 on Harte to score first, good day. Savage got a good send off from all fans, he gave his boots to a young fan at the front of the Derby fans and then took his shirt and shorts off and gave them to fans also, then trudged off in his underpants. (I'm not a Reading fan by the way, i'm a Swindon fan, but free football, transport, food & drink was enough to persuade me to go).

Josh
I have nothing against Swindon fans, to be honest I have never felt any animosity towards any fans but those of Bristol Rovers. Bad luck smaisey, and I wish you luck in League Two next year.
Pansy.
We (Crystal Palace) lost today again to Forest. Not liking the fact we're gonna be prime relegation candidates next year.
SilentSeas
A good point for Blackpool at Spurs today. A win against Bolton should hopefully be enough to keep us up.

cactus.
So unless City lose all their games they have the CL spot? City can lose their three remaining games and still claim 4th if Tottenham were to lose or draw their two remaining. In fact, even if Tottenham win two out of three of their remaining fixtures (and lost the third) they can still lose out on 4th due to their inferior goal difference (+21 and +7 for City and Tottenham, respectively). Really starting to lose my sh*t at Villa. FFS, Wigan? Shouldn't have expected anything else though considering our season so far.
Banks.
What a game it could turn out to be this afternoon.Scores gents? I'm going to say a draw or a United win. It's going to be best game of the season no doubt.
Seddo
It's at OT and United have been pretty damn good there this season so i can see a United win. Although seeing as United only need a draw could it be possible they sort of sit back a bit and try for the draw? could be dangerous if they do. For any chance for Chelsea to win they have to start with Drogba and Anelka with one of Kalou or Malouda, have to. If Torres starts then i believe they have no chance. So yeah United to win for me and that gets backed up even more with Webb as ref.
cactus.
Really starting to lose my sh*t at Villa. FFS, Wigan? Shouldn't have expected anything else though considering our season so far. Tell me about it. I read that Bent missed a one-on-one to win the game. A lot of good he is doing my fantasy team I'm gonna say 2-2 for today. Chelsea will open the scoring only for United pull level late on. Tommy Dickfingers
A good point for Blackpool at Spurs today. A win against Bolton should hopefully be enough to keep us up. A massive game against Bolton next week, win and you stay up, lose and you're down as I can't see you getting anything at Old Trafford to be honest. I was annoyed at Charlie Adam after he scored. Kissing his badge and showing his "loyalty" to the Blackpool fans. He should remember it was only a couple of months ago he wanted away and handed in a transfer request. Can't wait for the playoffs to start, always great games. It was only this time last year that we were in the playoffs, beating Charlton to reach Wembley in the League One Playoff final, only to be outplayed by Millwall. Then one season later finishing bottom of League One and relegated to League Two. Sob. My picks: Championship - Swansea League One - Huddersfield League Two - Shrewsbury Gonna do a little accumulator on all three. You get approx 23-1 odds for all three to win their respective playoffs. It's gonna have day one DLC too ...interesting fact: in the 56yr history of the European Cup, only five finals have been played by teams outside of those ten teams. And it would also be the case if you removed Arsenal and Chelsea. E: sorry - seven! lol. Edited May 8, 2011 by II J0SePh X II

I would say I know how you feel, but I don't quite. We were beaten in a playoff final by Hull City which was really even and then a few years later we're bottom of the league with 6 points from 11 games. Although we did recover and beat Hull 3-0 yesterday to sew up 15th spot. The strange nature of the footballing beast. And for what it's worth, I'm going to say that the following teams are going to get promoted via the playoffs: Reading (will beat Cardiff and Swansea respectively) Huddersfield (By far the best team, although thet doesn't always translate to wins) Torquay United (Hoping against hope...) And I really want AFC Wimbledon to come up to the league. As for the Chelsea Man Utd match, I'm going to have to say 3-2 Chelsea. I am really hoping that it is an absolute thriller of a game. Tell me about it. I read that Bent missed a one-on-one to win the game. Well, al Habsi saved it. But it's my opinion that Bent should have rounded him and slotted it home. Although I suppose that the presence of Alcaraz could have made him panic a bit and rush his shot. So yeah United to win for me and that gets backed up even more with Webb as ref. Interesting Webb stats: Man Utd have won 13/21 games that he has reffed them for. He has sent off no Man Utd players, but has sent off one opposition player every 9 games. The Unvirginiser
I can see Chealsea stealing a 2-1 today. I don't know if this is against the forum rules, but does anybody know of a live stream online for the game?
Girish
I don't know if this is against the forum rules, but does anybody know of a live stream online for the game? I have been trying to find one for ages, but none of them are free. As a result, I have to specifically arrange my week-offs from work during important matches and come down to Mumbai just to watch the game. Also, I just checked the score and Stoke is 2-0 up against Arsenal at half-time. Wow. Arsenal might come back after HT, but it must be seriously demoralizing to be 2 goals down against Stoke especially after coming from a win against United last week. Edit: Good goal by Van Persie. It's 2-1 now. Edit2: And just as I posted that, Arsenal slack off after scoring that goal and Stoke score. It's 3-1. I doubt if Arsenal can come back from this.
