I think R* needs to add the stock market and casinos

 

So us players can really make a gamble with are GTA Money

 

Would be a great way to make money and loss it fast.

I find myself playing SP a lot cause of Stocks Market always a come up!

 

Made 24 Million in 3 Hours

 

Would love to hit a casino and play

-Poker

-Blackjack

-Roulette

-Craps

-Baccarat

I think there is a good chance that some point in the future that we will get the casino however I dont see the stocks happening. I only say that because like in SP people can manipulate the stocks and make alot of money and if this would to happen it might effect cash cards which R* definetly dont want.

have they actually released anything stating they'll add these two things? i personally think the stock market will never come to online, its probably too difficult for rockstar to simulate and theres too many variables. if it does come online, i dont think it will be like single player, with jobs/news affecting the market. you will probably have to make random guesses and end up losing most of the time. casino i guess could happen

Stocks will likely never come to online. People could invest hacked/glitches cash and make normal players rich without any real work involved.

 

In SP, you can manipulate the stock market by messing with the environment. That'd be a cluster f*ck in online.

Say I wanted to help my homie out by losing a 2million dollar bet on purpose.

 

Its the same as the whole mod a vehicle and give it to another player. R* wants us to buy cash cards or farm.

Naive is such a great thing. How many people dream of hitting it big in Vegas? Now, how many would need a cash card just to get home? You think you're defeating the system and in reality you're handing them the keys to your defeat.

 

A casino would be fun if we could gamble against each other! Then you have a chance of winning, but I don't think R* would touch that. They already have enough cans of worms open than to add someone claiming they're addicted to the game and buying tons of cash cards or the multitude of R* support contacts saying someone cheated and they want their money back. Regardless, I bet they would think about a one player version since you guys would feed all your money to the machine, which will have someone buying cash cards.

 

The reason they won't open the stock market is because you guys could figure it out, hack the system, and otherwise make tons of cash so you could defeat the cash card system. I think with everything that's going on that you've pretty much axed the idea of getting that content even though I'll venture they thought about it.

 

Lastly, directed at the post above. The game itself defeats cash cards. I've played over and over and bought all the cars I want and have a tank and buzzard and I could buy an Adder right now. I've never purchased a Cash Card. If you want to defeat the system then just play, but don't claim that one little update is going to take down R*. It's just reckless thinking.

Exactly Luke, how can you expect someone to know every thread posted on these forums. It is not like there is a search bar on the top of the page where someone can type "Casino" or "Stock Market" right? My word man, get a hold of yourself!

If they did, they could no longer have their online competitions here the prize is a million dollars in fake money.

Like they will give out real money? Many games reward their players with in game cash. I fail to see the problem with Rockstar doing it.

some people will just keep spending their money in casino, real money or GTA$

It all depends how they rig (not in the negative connotation) the machines.

given the fact that with every update they open the doors for new and easier glitches, adding the money releated activities like a casino or bawsaq is not a good idea from R* point of view.

 

i can see it already...

 

*domislive voice*

"ok guys, go to bawsaq, buy 100k in shares of TacoBomb, right before you confirm the purchase you would pause, go to the store, start lagswitch, backout from the store, confirm the purchase of the stock, now with the lag switch still running you would sell the shares, notice how the value have duplicated, do this with a million dollars worth of shares and you would be making billions in a couple hours, remember to subscribe, lets try to get this video to 50,000 so leave a for chop"
