Official Destroyer
Yes, I did this in every former GTA and so I do it in V again. It's fun as hell. LehPhatGer-bear
Sir Winthorpe Herrington
While I never do drive "correctly" (unless I'm creepin up on some gangsters about to do a drive-by), I do however role-play as Michael a lot. I usually pretend he is an ex special forces rambo like guy that snapped and explodes on society with his giant arsenal of weapons and well thought out militant plans. I also play him as a guy in the drug business that needs to take out all the rival gangs getting into his sh*t in the hood. The sh*t comes from ME not that punk ass bitch Madrazzo and they better know that sh*t. The rest of the time I just screw around with cheats, walking up to random peds and killing them as if I am a contract killer. TECHN9CiAN
Sorta. I like to pretend im like Hancock, able to fly (thru the moon gravity, jump real high, and skyfall cheats, mixed with invincibility), explosive melee attacks, drunk mode, and fast running, and just go day by day f*cking sh*t up and/or helping the random encounters. dtsmucker
I didn't realise school holidays were global. Who knew so many morons would be online at the same time, what with the whole date-line-time thing.... Stupidity really is Worldwide...
gtafaninwest
All the time. In the HD universe, I'm living in South Los Santos. I never been to Liberty City. In the 3D Universe, I'm living in East Beach. Just trying to live life while avoiding crime. Sometimes I wish I lived in the GTA world than reality. It seems more fun in-game than real life. goblinthegnome
Sometimes, when I play as Michael, I make him hide under the bed and pretend that he's a carrot. Mightymomo22

OMGmyFACE
I've found that life in GTAV is a lot like my own life but with nicer suits. If I greet people on the street, random hippies who think I was talking to them get mad and try to instigate fights. If I call people up in my phone, no one picks up and I get a voice mail but I never leave a message. Everyone around me is a terrible driver. And whenever I drink half a bottle of whiskey within minutes, everything vibrates and blurs. I'm practically one of the protags already. Minus the billions of dollars from playing the stocks, of course.
Toshio_maxoS
Yeah, I'm always thinking "Now I'm a pilot". And then taking the Plane. Then I do like I have some problems and need to land... and then I try to land where I just fly. Mostly in the desert, on a beach or on the High Way
Sunrise Driver
Sometimes. I don't have much of real "real life" anyway.
SCOOBASTEEB
I always have in GTA because i have an imagination. The people saying the game is bad are the people that grew up from gta3 and lost their ability to have fun
Phillyboy
Yes, I do. Don't have a specific story though. It changes every day. But for instance one time as Michael I got out of the bed in the morning, drank some green juice, and then played tennis in the back with Amanda. It looked hot so I swam a bit in the pool. Afterwards, I changed into some "active" clothes and drove (properly) to the beach. I took a slow bike ride along the entire bike track. By then it was sunset. On the way home I saw the movie theatre so of course decided to watch a movie. The day was over so I drove home (still properly) and watched tv while smoking a cigar. Drank one glass of whiskey and went to bed. Yea I have no life. I don't do a lot in real life either so when it comes for pc i will be immersed in a similar way. I'll probably go on multiplayer though and do it.
nikos-revenge
I get into Franklin's green boiler suit pretending to be an air ambulance pilot or Michael/Trevor's police uniform and be traffic police TECHN9CiAN
TECHN9CiAN
I get into Franklin's green boiler suit pretending to be an air ambulance pilot or Michael/Trevor's police uniform and be traffic police Lol yes! I do that too, its especially fun when youre in police uniform, and riding a police bike, and starting a random encounter. If its a stolen wallet, i'll hop off and chace them, then beat them with the night stick... Repeatedly.
Voggs
Sometimes... I often do this as Michael, without changing characters, just driving around, getting changed to walk on the beach, the pier, greeting some peds, swimming, then I when it's dark I go back to his home, get changed, watch some TV, smoke, head to the countryside and investigate some areas with a flashlight, drive back to play some Tennis and watch the city. But Michael's walking animation is horrible, it doesn't suit him at all, even Tommy's was better to watch. This stuff gets boring pretty quick though, nothing really interests me now in V. I went back to IV and I'm enjoying it, I missed the Impossible Trinity. Edited May 9, 2014 by Voggens
goblinthegnome
Whenever I play as Trevor, I give him the scuba suit, mullet haircut, stubble and white hockey mask and pretend that he's some assassin. Think of Waingro from Heat if he became the Winter Soldier from Captain America: TWS.

Midnightz
Of all the GTAs, there's only two I enjoy role playing in: GTASA and GTAV. I don't get to play very often but when I do, it's all about character customization, talking with pedestrians, WALKING around to take in every detail of every area, mostly obeying traffic laws, and engaging in activities that boost skills. I also enjoy the Scuba Diving, BMX and sad attempt at Parkour. I dress my characters according to whatever activity I plan on doing and will change clothes before doing the next. I WISH we could disable the police at will, peds had more to say, we had SP gestures, and Trevor could speak positively to pedestrians. .Ryan.
Nuggets
Yeah. I be thinkin dat Martin Madrazo is mah boss n' mah online character is from mexico n' do thangs fo' his muthaf*ckin ass. I dress mah character up in what tha f*ck kind of mission I be goin ta do. Like if its a funky-ass big-ass thang thatz goin ta need snipin n' all dat sh*t, I go wit all black guerilla steez wit tha silenced carbine rifle. If itz one of dem bust a cap up in n' grab file missions. I put on a funky-ass bossin suite n' git mah Rancher XL. Once I git a lil closer ta tha target I git outta tha hoopty infront of tha target n' blast mah clip empty wit tha bangin ass gold AK, cartel style or I ram up in dem n' blast dem wit tha mini uzi Sometimes I roleplay dat I be some low game rat n' do lil' small-ass missions. You can't straight-up play online by yoself without roleplay.
