Do you pretend you actually live a life in GTA?

Now to sum this down for you, I mean like be one of the characters in story mode (or online too) and run in your mind like it's your life. Such as going to eat, ACTUALLY driving correctly, hangin' with friends, thing like that. Post your made up story! (:

Yes, I do. Don't have a specific story though. It changes every day.

But for instance one time as Michael I got out of the bed in the morning, drank some green juice, and then played tennis in the back with Amanda. It looked hot so I swam a bit in the pool. Afterwards, I changed into some "active" clothes and drove (properly) to the beach. I took a slow bike ride along the entire bike track.

By then it was sunset. On the way home I saw the movie theatre so of course decided to watch a movie. The day was over so I drove home (still properly) and watched tv while smoking a cigar. Drank one glass of whiskey and went to bed.

Yea I have no life.

I do.

1.

I like to get Michael and make him look like a professional Hitman. Dress different and drive different cars depending on the target i have to eliminate... Here are some example:

I get a (Imaginary) email where I have to kill a some ped in some town (i randomly pick). So if the target is in a town with farms, i would have Michael dress as a farmer and drive a pick up truck to not stand out. After i kill the target, i take a picture, burn his body and burn the car.

2.

I like to play with Franklin as if i was Xzibit and i had to pimp cars to make them look like the ones in West Coast Customs. I spend most of the time doing this but i go changing style from a "West coast customs style" to a more "Rally or even race car style".

3.

I like to get Michael dress in the Motocross outfit and i get on my motorcycle (Kawasaki z750 green) and drive/cruise for hours...

Kind of. I don't have in-game routines, but I do change my protagonist's attire and hair depending on what I do, which includes various personal activities.

Most frequent scenarios involve: hiking as Trevor, maybe invite Michael along as well. Prior to setting it up, I'll switch to Trevor and strip down to some jeans and full beard, apply similar treatment to Michael, although he'd be in a tank top and shorts. Then hike along Raton Canyon and the general area. Once you're far enough from the Alamo Sea it feels like another game. The NPCs fishing along the river,"elk" drinking, parked vans and observing fellow hikers. We'd stop by the edge of the river, and go for a swim. Not straying too far from the vehicle (never use taxis in V). Speaking of hikers, I'll often have Trevor wearing the hunting gear and pick off the odd straggler.

Another activity with Trevor is roaming around Sandy Shores, provoking the locals (in IV we had the OTT physics to troll peds, here it's the petty insults and cursing that make for some amusing reactions). I will always have Trevor in his default white t-shirt or maybe switch it to the murky green one, tatty jeans and default shoes... keeping within the realms of filth and disorder that Trevor embodies. After some back and forth action I'll return to his trailer, speak to Ron or just to see what he's up to, and watch some Impotent Rage, Jack Howitzer or get drunk. Rarer occasions I'll get high and see where Trevor finds himself when he comes to.

Sometimes I will take Chop for a walk as Franklin around South Los Santos, Franklin dressed as a 90s throwback, and spend about 20 mins just walking and taking in the area, detoured down alleyways I may have missed in my previous playthrough, uncovering more detail as well. The South LS area was definitely underused for the amount of detail there is. All the cracked roads, trash, graffiti, and thugs roaming. The sense of danger when walking around creates the right atmosphere.

As Michael, I'll often keep in touch with his family, so that means initiate activities and return to the house at least once every in-game day (that's unless he's already home when I switch). He'll spend most of his time around Rockford Hills, Vinewood and Vinewood Hills. There is plenty of greenery around the Hills, even some park areas which are great for taking a stroll around. Michael will frequently greet passerbys with their dogs, and afterwards, go for a jog or head to Vespucci Beach for a swim before sunset.

Spending more time in specific areas has made me appreciate the details this games has to offer, coupled with the return of in-depth customisation, they make for some unique moments. They aren't official activities with a % and cash rewards at the end, but this is an open world game, and that's what puts them head and shoulders above tunnel vision, linear hand-holders.

I fell in love with the Oracle XS (GTA IV model) after some guys in the forum talked about it. So now I go around in a dark suit driving this black Oracle pretending to be some nefarious government agent performing tasks for various shady characters (online missions), or just roam around San Andreas bringing my kind of justice to innocent people on the streets. Wish the cops are more toned down or a cop-free mode available, so I can play this out further.

I also recently created a second character and intentionally tried to make him as asian-looking as possible, got him a cheap apartment in Little Seoul and cars like Karin Futo (still looking for the Sultan), so I can play him out like a two-bit asian (Korean?) gangster.

I dress up Michael and Trevor in their highway patrol uniforms, and then I meet up with Franklin.

We sneak around outside of the houses in Vinewood, and if we see anyone that looks rich, we take advantage. I usually sneak up behind them and then I hit them with the nightstick, and when they're on the ground I use the stungun. Sometimes I do the opposite. If they see me, I stun them with the stungun, and then I beat them to death with the nightstick.

When they're dead, I usually start looking for money, and if I don't find any, I violate them with gunshots to their dead body. When I'm done with them, I shower them with gasoline, and shoot them so that their bodies start burning.

"They even shot Tommy in the face so his mother couldn't give him an open-casket funeral."

I haven't pretended I live a life in GTAV, and probably won't.
In the past, I used to do it all the time in IV though.

Lol I always wonder if that is possible with a gta before that next one comes out. It worked best for me in IV cause I was jus some poor immigrant with no car and new to the city. I walked, got a hotdog, meet hobos, shop, find internet cafe and browse, leave and its night, find someone to mug for taxi money, take trains to strip clubs, ect. The best Ive done in V was get lost in the city at night, on a bike as franklin when i didnt know the map for sh*t ( with map turned off, darkness down all the way,) I felt like I was lost only trying to make my way home an my bike. it worked well because I thought anything could happen since I just got the game and hadn't figured out that nothing at all could happen except cops.

Yes! Have you ever quick saved in front of a nice house so that the next time you begin your game you'll be there as if the house was yours? It's really fun, I like to do it in my Zion XS and just roam around the lot as if it were mine. Then I eventually drive off towards a freeway and follow all of the road rules (except I do speed just a little bit, who doesn't in real life). It can be pretty relaxing especially if you need to kill time.

I would halfheartedly follow road rules at times, but only because I was on a moterbike and half of them irl are assholes and just go around cars and slip through spots.

If i'm driving one of my house "Garaged" cars, then yes. I tend to follow all rules, park when i'm going shopping and go cruising. If i'm about to leave and I know i'll be playing gta again when I get home, i'll quick save in front of LifeInvader as if I worked there.

All the time.

Roleplay is the only thing keeping me playing V, if I'm honest.

Since I started a new save I do it with Michael to an extent that he's a hipster going thru a middle-age crises.

For online, I have one character for all the main activities, then I have another for roleplaying. He lives in a sh*tty apartment with two sh*tty cars.

I'll just wake up in the morning, put some nice clothes on, have some cereal and get ready for the day, because I am going to go to work and nothing will stop-

Oh, I almost forgot. My friends and other strangers are having a gunfight outside of my house, fighting over who's going to kill me because I robbed five convenience stores the other day. Sigh. Lemme get my carbine real quick. It's gonna be a long day.

Yeah, I actually do, but too many people try to kill you and such.

Ocassionaly i fool around in singleplayer for RP, but most of the RP time get my second rich girl character, while the first guy grinds his ass off. They are kind of couple.

^LMFAOOOOO!

On Topic- I try sometimes but whatever do I ant avoid a star so it ruis everything. Like im an animal hunter so the plan is this..

At night I go into the mountains, kill a couger or deer, burn it and dissapear into the darkness without trace!

This s what actually happens....

At night I go into the mountains, kill a cougar, get one star before burning it (despite no1 around), get in my car and try to escape, 2 star, shoot at cops to escape, 3 star. Run till 4 star then I get hunted down like the animal I killed.

f*ck U COPS

Well yesterday..........

it all begin with Michael waking up going downstairs for breakfast. Than he went upstairs and changed clothes because he had to take Tracey to a job interview. After that Michael went to get something to eat at Up N Atom than he went to go pick up franklin for a drink. Michael than dropped off franklin at home while trevor was hunting so he couldn't come drinking. Michael went home because Amanda was trying to fix the car so he had to come home and do it. Michael than watched Tv and took a nap.

RPing is the only thing you can pretty much do in single player -_-

The hangouts are the best part. I love getting Franklin, Trevor, and Lamar together. Bunch of idiots. Hilarious when I hung out with Trevor and he asked Franklin if Lamar was gay because he insists Lamar has a crush on him LOL.

I love roleplaying in this game... it is simply put: a marvelous experience.

However, due to recent events at Kings Landing, I am far too... busy.

All for the good of the realm. God's be good!
