What are the best all around cars for racing?

Recommended Posts

For the super cars it is pretty easy to tell that the adder and the E XF are the best, but I was looking for opinions on the best sports cars regarding a combo of speed, handling and looks. All the muscle cars pretty much suck. Also, what are the best sedans, i want a good 4 door car with some speed.

Off road: Bifta, Injection, Sanchez & Bodhi

Motorcycles: Bati 801 & 801RR, Akuma & Double T

Muscle: Dominator & Sabre Turbo

The fastest cars in racing in each category:

Super: Entity XF

Sports: Elegy RH8

Motorcycle: Bati 801 - Must wheelie on straights while accelerating.

Off-Road: Sanchez - Must wheelie on straights while accelerating.

Coupes: Exemplar

Sports Classics: Z-Type

Muscle: Dominator

Sedans: Schafter

SUV: Radius

Compacts: Blista

Turismo and Adder are second to the Entity. Jester and Feltzer are second to the Elegy but well behind Elegy's pace. Bati 801 is much faster than the Akuma on tracks with areas of long straight aways. On tracks like the Nurburgring where you're limited to how much you can wheelie I'm inclined to say the Akuma is slightly faster. Zion is quite a ways behind the Exemplar. Z-type dominates its class followed by the Monroe in second. Ruiner and Gauntlett are very close to the Dominator's pace, it's pretty much a toss up in this class. Fugitive is a little behind the Schafter's pace. Baller II is second to the Radius. Issi is second to the Blista.

Whhhaaaaaattttttt? Nobody has mentioned the 9f for the sports class? That's a shame, it's AWD just like the Elegy but is much quicker from a stop and has a higher top end. I have a 9F, Elegy, and Coquette but the 9f is the only one I'll race. The Elegy is too heavy (great against being rammed) but the 9f is so quick and nimble.

nah FELTZER MASTER RACE :)

Depends on the track a LOT. There are races which simply only a Cheetah can win in super class. I'm sure you can say the same in other classes, it very much depends on the track. Its only a very rare race where the Adder is a potential winner imho. It needs to be basically a drag race. On street races with 90 degree bends you will never beat an Entity and high speed sweeping corners you will never beat a Cheetah, also you'll never out brake a Turismo.. For all tracks in super class? You best take the Cheetah, unless its a stupid lets drive around the map type race seriously you win more often in that car.

I'd take a bet the Elegy is the same deal as the Entity in this regard. Awesome at 90 degrees but a failure somewhere else.

No, cheetah does EVERYTHING slightly worse than an entity. Cheetah does not have anything it does better than the entity.

And also, the one who said the dominator is the best muscle car is clueless.

Dominator handles like a retarded, backwards iceskating deer.

An unmodded gauntlet gets about the same time as a fully modded dominator.

Super:

Adder for straight races

Entity for bendy races

Sports:

Carbonizaire for straight/drift races

Jester for bendy races

Sports Classics:

Z-type for straight races

Monroe for bendy/drift races

Muscle:

Gauntlet for straight races

Ruiner for bendy/drift races

This guy has so far raced with every vehicle bar the Hotknife, Khamelion and Carbon RS which is fine, considering those all suck in their respective classes. These are unmodded, and many cars come within 0.0.100 seconds of each other, making the choice there essentially useless as it depends more on your skill in that case.

According to his races, the order is:

Super: Entity XF, Turismo R, Adder
Sports: Elegy RH8, Jester, Feltzer

Muscle: Ruiner, Dominator, Gauntlet

Coupes: Exemplar, Zion, Cognoscenti Cabrio

Sports Classics: Z-Type, Monroe, Stinger GT

Sedans: Fugitive, Tailgater, Schafter

SUVs: Baller II, Radius, Park Ranger
Bikes: Bati 801, Akuma, Double-T
Off-Road: Sanchez, Bifta, Dune-Buggy

Compacts: Blista, Issi, Prairie

Now of course, this is assuming you're not racing against modded vehicles, and you're a capable driver yourself. If you're not, well you could be driving an Exemplar and lose to an F620, or driving an Elegy RH8 and lose to a Futo.

Sports class is very competitive, in the right hands pretty much every car can come out on top and comes down to personal preference really.

Atm I own a Elegy and Jester but Jester suits my driving style more.

Schafter is the best Sedan and fun to drive.

Dominator does not suck.

Goodsport92

Dominator do suck, no amount of skill can make that car not waste a lot of time powersliding from the slightest turn done without breaking a lot.

And the whole "monroe is better at curvy tracks than Z-type" myth is just that: A myth.

Please stop spreading lies people, and begin testing which car that is actually the best...

Unless you just like to drive whatever car that is prettiest.

If you have both an entity and cheetah I'd be happy to prove the point to you with an example track that shows the cheetah is quicker in certain conditions. I have both and its 100% the truth. Broughy123 said the Entity is fastest on cutting corners followed by the Adder and then Cheetah. This is correct although over the long run the Cheetah will beat the Adder because it won't crash. However other tracks with different types of corners can be a different result, the entity very much sucks turning on a long fast sweeper. Edited by elfoam

What I use for racing.

Super - Infernus or Entity.

Sport - Carbonizzare or Elegy RH8.

Sedan - Schafter.

Coupe - Exemplar.

Compact - Blista.

Motorcycle - Bati 801RR.

Sports Classic - Z-Type (soon to be replaced by Monroe).

Muscle - Ruiner

Offroad - Sanchez

Van - Bison

I race a lot, and mostly in supercars (I have five in my garage). What I see is that it definitely depends on the track. If there are jumps involved, you cannot - really, you can not - outperform the Cheetah. It flies so nicely it's ridiculous. On straight roads I use the Adder or the Entity, and if there are technical courses I choose Turismo, or Entity. Sometimes the Cheetah for fun. But when in doubt, I always choose the Entity. There isn't a race made that the Entity doesn't have a chance at winning if you drive well. My Vacca I only keep for its awesome looks and tearing around in freemode, and although I have actually won a race or two in it, it will always be outperformed by the other four.

For sports I only have two, the Carbonizzare and the Jester. The Jester is my go-to car for races, it is not *quite* as quick as the Elegy on all courses, especially if there is some gravel involved, but I usually come out ok anyway. Again it mostly depends on the driver. The Carbonizzare is great for some races (mostly ones with high-speed long sweeping bends), and really really bad for others. I've had a Banshee and a Feltzer also, and both were also good for some races, but rubbish at others.

My only bike is the Double-T, which in my opinion is the most underrated vehicle in the game. I never have any trouble keeping up with the Batis and Akumas, although everyone seems to prefer those. And it looks awesome, especially with the carbon panels on (which I also think actually makes it lighter and faster).

I don't have a muscle car for racing, but I always choose the Gauntlet for its handling.

Offroad: Sanchez.

Compact: Blista.

Sports Classics: Z-type (I hate that it outperforms my Stinger GT so badly).

As for SUV's I don't think I ever lost a race in my Baller II when I had that. I haven't tried the Radius, but I seriously doubt it can outperform the Baller.

But back to OP's original question: For Sedans you want the Schafter or Tailgater, I don't think there is much difference between the two. However, in the Coupes class you'll find the best four-seater in the game: The Ubermacht Oracle (why is it there though, it belongs in Sedans..). It also looks awesome, being based on the BMW M5.

from what i've experianced with supercar races (i always use the entity since i don't own a supercar), at stock settings the entity always seems to out accellerate any modded adder.

for sportscar i reccomend the comet, i own one and i have it modded and it's fast!
